Actually , it is a very very very rare case,very few case occurred in RC and Aussie too.. I saw the hole personally, it is a straight hole thru the silicon... Like taking a straw and poke into and jelly and take out... I just will be more careful next time and look for worms...

Yupz, the tentacles should be more rounded if it is haddoni... But it seems like a haddoni also becos of the way the tentacle are arranged.. SO maybe some where in between... LOL..

It is the fangs they used to dig thru the sand and rocks... Thats why they are able to dig thru the silicon...

Not haddoni, It is more like a gigantea... The difference between red haddoni and red gigantea is very obvious...

More than that this morning... The other remaining tank also wipeout... Only left the damsels, which was lucky as the damsel are the uncommon ones... But they looked bad in my frag tank... And I did not put in the frag tank is becos, my frag tank is only 1.5ft x 1ft x 1ft... Barely sufficient for my whole tank of fishes...

Good thing is that can be replaced but still got sentimental values, moreover the fishes was with me for more almost a year....

It is caused by a silicon eating worm.. Which is a very rare occurance.. This the link that I found out about... The same way it happened to my tank... In the thread that happened 5 years ago... Worm eating silicon
