Recirculating skimmer mean that it have a skimmer pump that create bubble in the skimmer bubble by reusing the water in the skimmer body... And you will need a feeding pump to feed the skimmer with water from your tank... Just my opinion, i dun really trust the rating for dymax equipment, they usually over-rate their equipments and if you are going for recirculating skimmer that you going to use for long term, i would recommend, Reef Octopus (Budget - $200 onwards), Hydro Performer (Budget - $500 onwards), Deltec (Budget - $800 onwards)....

There is a high possibility, but it is not always 100%... There are some reported cases that 2 female are able to form a pair with one changing to female especially in the Genicanthus Angels...

From what i understand, they need female to maintain their male coloration, when a male is alone, there is a high tendencey that they will change back to female as they dun have a need to remain male... I think this is in-built in angels... I think got something to do with hierachy thingy...

You wun have to moniter calcium or Magnesium as you wun have coral in the tank while you are doing hypo... And fishes are not really affected by these parameter... It will work better with UV as it will kill off any free swimming parasite... But not really required as the ich parasite cant stand low salinity and will die in low salinity...
