Hahaha.. No need beo... see openly... LOL...

  3. Go slow for now... Moniter the NH4 and NO2... As for the wavemaker, Cant advise much as cant see the circulation from pic... As long as you can get circulation to most of the area it is fine... It actually depends on what you want to keep also.. Personally I dun turn the skimmer during the cycling period... Normally will on after the Cycling period..
  4. 1 is quite high leh... Do water change with DI water and run Rowaphos... And if you find rowaphos to expensive to run, can change to Goodbye P04 after the initial run of the rowaphos...
  5. It has only been 2 days... It would not register any Ammonia on your testkit... Once, the ammonia spike, your fishes will be dead before you know it.. Ammonia can kill within a day... I know many will say, SO WHAT, IT IS JUST A FISH... It is irresponsible and not doing a favour to Mother Nature if you cannot give the fishes, the care and environment they require, it is better you not start this hobby... And we are not doing ourselves a favor by not being responsible to the fishes that we buy.. The wild reef is already be in a very bad stage due to overfishing so we should treasure the fishes we buy and try to give it the best environment we can... And adding fishes without the a certain "amount" of bacteria will certainly crash your tank as the bacteria cannot handle breaking down all the excessive waste... And restarting with a crash tank is waste of money, fishes and time...
  6. OMG... Liquidfry is so retro bring back memories... But if not wrong, i used to see them at C328... If not wrong they should be able to feed on phytoplankton...
  7. It is aiptasia... Can use kalk solution or buy joes juice to kill them... Peppermint shrimps will work but it is not a 100% that they will eat them... But a small group of peppermint shrimps should show more positive result than 1-2 peppermint...
  8. There are many reason as in why it closes... Maybe you can provide more information about your tank before we can know what happened to your zoas...
  9. I agree but the latter is mostly the problem... It is common in zoas colony.. Spaghetti worm will not only have 1-2 tentacles.. They will be in group...
  10. Sis, the Chelmon Rostratus is the copperband..
  11. Dosing of bacteria will work on reducing the length of cyclingBUT it is not recommended for newbie as it will be quite confusing for them to differential whether it is safe for stocking... BUT I emphasize no matter what method you use to reduce the cycling period, Cycling is still required, Minimum 2-3 weeks... And go slow on your stocking, it is not advisable to be stocking very fast...
  12. If you have a photo it is better for us to ID.. The crab i would throw it away..
  13. Yup... Dun keep shifting them..
  14. DOG POOP!!!!!!!!!! I dunno where you get the idea from!!! But please ensure there are no residue of the DOG POOP in the tank, God knows what is inside the dog poops... Anyway, the die off from the liverocks that you are using is enough to kick start a ANN cycle unless you are using Dead rocks, I dunno why many reefers still use market prawn to kick start the ANN cycle... And it is not possible to see the Ammonia spike in 1 day, it is a few days thing, it should register in your testkit within 1-2 weeks.. The whole cycling process will take 4-6 weeks without any additional help from additives..
  15. Bro, What string thingy, may I ask? Brown color ones?? If it is brown color, it might be due to stress... Let us know the condition it is in now? If it is bristleworms then it is fine to leave them in the tank, they are scavengers so they dun pose a threat to your livestocks but if it is bobbit worm den it is better to catch it out.. Bristleworms Bobbit worms Anyway, crabs I would just crush them with my chopstick when they retreat into the hole... LOL..
  16. Yup, But some location are out of bound... Not any amount of money can get you into that location... LOL....
  17. The Trigger is nice... But sadly it is difficult to get X. Ringens in Singapore liao... Not to mention this...
  18. Debelius and Hotumatua still got hope as there used to be rumour of collection but seems to be a untrue in the end??? Semifasciatus is so common in the past dunno what is wrong with this fish???? Swim deeper becos of global warming???
  19. Mine ate White Shell aka LaLa but not a very sustainable diet and it fouls up the tank so trying live brine shrimp and algae sheet is your best best for now...
  20. Just to add on, This DOES NOT KILL ich... They increase the immunity of your fishes so they can fend off ich...
  21. Yes, Anti-chlorine if I never remember wrongly is Seachem Prime...
