  9. From where did you all get the info that I am having pox... Haha... Not many marine frens know about it.. Haha... Bro beetle, i try to list out the price for the fishes I recommend but not all are accurate cos haven been buying fishes for sometime liao...
  10. Okay, there are a lot of nano fishes that you can consider... Mostly are eviota and trimma goby... Yasha and yellow nose goby is a good choice... Blue-stripe pipefish is also worth a try when your tank is more mature and stable... You can also try keeping neon goby, both yellow and blue... Red-head goby is a very good choice, a small fish with a lot pf personality... For goby one on the rare side, can try gressingeri goby... Worm goby is also a good choice but rarely imported, haven seen one for some time liao... Hectori and rainfordi goby is a very good choice also.. For shrimps, you can try looking for red spotted shrimp, yellow arrow shrimp, emperor shrimp, anemone shrimp and sexy shrimps... They stay small and is ideal for nano tank...
  11. Bro... Maybe you could share your tank in a thread of your own and other reefers will be able to give some suggestion and comments with regards to your tank...
  12. Normally the floating one is very accurate liao, 2nd to refractometer... If top-up of water, use the pure distill water.... For water change, mix the distill water with salt before adding to tank... And yes, you have to test the salinity of your tank water and the new water so that there is not much difference and the salinity in the tank wun fluctuate too much... I also agree that Nano tank is not for beginner due to the unstable water parameter becos of the little water volume... But it is not impossible to start with a nano tank, just take more time and dedication to stablise the tank...
  13. It is too diluted... Add more salt... 1) You wun need to add the anti-chlorine if you are using the those Distilled water. 2) I hope you mean when you are starting the tank and not when it is already filled with livestock. I prefer to let it dissolve with the water flow... 3) Prepare the salt water seperately in a pail den pour in tank. Dun do the latter...
  14. Kudos to you.. So you have been busy with these?
  15. Hope to see your next post soon... Haha...
  16. Judging from the polyps and body... It does resemble a leather coral... Not sure of the exact species cant find a identical one...
  17. Bro.. got better photo of the blue zoas and yellow zoas... In white light i mean... THanks...
  18. You never buy? Haha.. Normally, Red/Purple Macro is more easier to keep than Green ones...
  19. The QT salinity must be gradually lowered to allow the fish to "breathe" easier and the low salinity also prevent ich from reoccurring as ich wont survive in low salinity.
  20. Thanks bro... Petmart a bit far for me... Haha... Will see if i can get at any other lfs anot... Quite affordable price...
  21. Okay... Where you got the skimmer from? I am planning to setup a 1ft cube too.. So need to find a decent skimmer too... haha...
  22. Dun think they will graze on algae, haven seen them do that yet... Sometimes maybe you have a few small pcs of food that might float to it so it is possible that he might have gotten some of the leftover...
  23. Bro, went thru your thread... you have any problem with the bubbles from your skimmer, escaping into the main tank? What did you do to prevent that? sponges?
