It is not a goby... It is a blenny.. Can just release it, dun starve it in the betta tank.. It will graze on algae in your tank... And it is a Enchelyurus flavipes...

Okay, never keep them before... But they are under the clown goby genus, so they require a live sps or a skeleton... Preferably poccilipora... As for feeding not very sure... But they can wean to eating frozen.. Moderate speceis... Once feeding will be easy cos they are so small... And their livespan not that long... Maximum 1-2 years if not wrong, can get it pass 1 year very good liao......

You need not practically have a "tank" to quarantine your fishes... A Ikea Container with a sponge filter and a airpump will do a fine job... As long as the container that the fish in is big enough for it.. Regular water changing is a must, once every few days, siphon out the leftover food and clean the filter... I wouldnt say medication but as a preventive measure it always good to add some Furan in the QT and it is not toxic to corals and invertebrate, so even if it leak into your main tank, there wun be much of a problem...
