Carnivorous??? They are scavengers... They are attracted to decaying foods which is the same as nassarius... nassarius dun clear detritus they eat uneaten food...

Hehe.. Not really sure thou.. Maybe they are missing something that is found in the ocean and not in our tanks... But I think the male with female will have a higher chance of retaining the color den male without female... That is what i feel lar.. lol..

It is a chiseltooth wrasse... There are not much other fishes that look like it.. It is quite common in shipment.. Unless it is Fourline Wrasse aka Larabicus quadrilineatus but i doubt so.. It is rare to see in Singapore...

Thumb of rule... Anything will blue,purple and green will be much dull if there are no female.. They will not lose the color completely but not so bright only.... Because they dun have the need to be so nice when there are no female to attract around..

Bro, I think the african exquisite will lose the some color if there are no female..
