Is that lava rock? It should not be used in the marine tank if not wrong as it leaks some elements in the water.. Air pump is not required in a marine tank, the skimmer have sufficient bubbles to keep the water well oxygenated...

Are you using a accurate testkit? Ammonia should not be 0.5, It is quite high and will kill any livestock in the tank, corals included... No point feeding if the lighting is not sufficient as they need lighting to grow well and no feeding is required for LPS...

I still feel it is quite difficult to get 0 reading for phosphate but it is possible with very good husbandry...

They are actually under the genus of soapfish, Most likey a pogonoperca punctata, At least 1ft fully grown .. The fire shrimp will be meal for them..
