DI = deionization RO/DI = reverse osmosis then deionize Both create purified water... Long run RO/DI is more worth it... becos the DI resin wun get used up as quicky with the RO membrane which rejects part of the water depending on the membrane.. You will have two output, one is brine water and one is purified water if I am not wrong.. you will use the purified water and discard the brine water, or you can use if for mapping floor and etc.. as for the ratio and how long it takes I am not sure, have not used it before... As for the number of stages is the sediment filter and carbon filter you use..

Quite long.. mine is also around that kind of timing.. mine is 26 to 27..

Any side view or front view? Very difficult to see from the back.. is it moving if it is it might be pest anenome of some sort.. ..

I agree, it might be the temp probe problem.. my 1hp use around 20 mins to cool my tank.. it seem awfully long to take a few hours for a 1/3 HP..

Hi I am more concerned that whether are you able to sustain the seafans for long... They require frequent daily feeding as they are not photosynthetic, although some a photosynthetic and most are brown... Here is a link to the basic care for NPS corals...
