  1. I jux saw one meyeri butterfly at CF on Saturday. V beautiful! But when we are there on Sunday, the butterfly is gone! Which means someone has bought it and not knowing it is difficult to keep.
  2. This is v rare. Haven seen it here yet. There is one in David saxby's old tank on youtube, the red on the tail is v striking!
  3. Wa now everything also platinum! Waiting for platinum maroon! Anyway ML has a v nice pair of wild caught picasso clowns.
  4. Four v similarly looking chrysiptera damsels, which is your favourite? Or if u've been thinking that they are the same, now note the difference! Starting from top left going clockwise: C.Gidi, C.Hemicyanea, C.Anarzae, C.parasema. All except Gidi are frequently available. Gidi is not found in the trade as yet and it likely will not appear in the trade ever due to its protected habitat in west PNG.
  5. The scape is getting better! Can see more space between the rocks. But pls throw away all the dying seafans and get new ones (they are cheap). No use harping over them, they are v hard to revive and will make your tank ugly.
  6. The callanthias is gorgeous. But the need of low temp below 20 turns me away. Another coldwater fish not suitable for captivity locally.
  7. I want the tiger blenny! But coming from from aussie it is v hard to get for us...
  8. Ya Reefbuilder and Quality Marine state it is hardy and easy to feed! Did they get their facts right?? Pictilis are known to be v difficult to get it to start feeding. Most of them starved to death in our aquarium. But once they start feeding they are not so difficult to keep.
  9. There are only v few fishes from "hawaii" shipment that is really caught in hawaii water. Namely flame wrasse, AT, potter, fisheri and a few others. Most other, listed above by lemon, are not caught in hawaii but from nearby islands like xmas and marshalls. Even griffis angel, goldflake angels, multicolor angels and black tang are not from hawaii water.
  10. Are the chrysopterus at Iwarna white tail or yellow tail? Any single small tricintus still available?
  11. Have not seen such good hawaii shipment from Iwarna for a long time. Hope to see more of these beautiful fishes in future.
  12. The vid is blur. But inside contains one of the rarest and hardest to get butterfly: Chaetodon Nigropunctatus!
  13. This is not terelabrus, it is Hologymnosus doliatus (also known as candycane wrasse). Occasionally appear at AM and Ah Beng indo shipment. It will grow huge and start to lose its stripes at 3":
  14. One of the rarest dwarf angel. Last year there was an operation planned to collect some easter endemic fishes, however it did not come though in the end. Which was a huge disappointment for many angelfish lovers! One of them is of course John Copps. The attached youtube video cant see any hotumatua angels but it wasn't a let down because at least it featured a huge school of the other rare easter endemic, the litus butterfly, circling a diver at snorkel depth. Thanks for sharing the article.
  15. Finally an update! Gorgeous pauci butterfly! Hope there will be more update soon of the pair. Next time take pics with more blue and the butterfly colors will stand out even more! A few reefers at Iwarna always ask me butterfly reefsafe or not? Can i keep in reef tank? Will they eat SPS? Next time my answer for them will be: Go and look at lemon's tank thread!
  16. I highly doubt the sand worm is the cause of your tank leak! It is most likely jux silicon worn out or poor workmanship. Let's not be paranoid about the worms biting through our silicon!
  17. CF updates. Rare Stegastes Pictus (only one piece at 1 blue note and is a beautiful juvenile, S.pictus is a rare damsel known only from Brazil) Tricinctus Clownfish Pair (only one pair this time from marshalls via hawaii shipment) CB full bar Latezonatus Clownfish (Three pairs available) Pomacentrus Indicus (Uncommon damsels from Brazil shipment, many pieces available at 3 green notes) Meiacanthus Tongaensis (a beautiful blenny from Tonga, very healthy and only one piece left)
  18. Super nice! Yours are even nicer den bradley's one becos of the longer body and finnage.
  19. This is not larvatus butterfly. It is Xanthocephalus Butterfly from maldives.
