  4. Not into rays and sharks. But this one looks small and cute! Maybe Torpedo Marmorata. Female piscilineatus flasher?
  5. Super beautiful, more stunning than rhomboid gold. All velvet wrasse should look like this!
  6. The shape is v pseudanthias. Maybe the yellow stripes reminds u of T.Flavofasciatus. The yellow pelvic fin is v unique. Randall and resplendent males both have red pelvic fins. Hopefully is a hardy new species.
  7. Neither randall nor resplendent. Maybe it's new. And it's beautiful! Hopefully we can get some thru hawaii shipment since it's from xmas island.

  11. A dozen peppermint angels dump into another sea will all perish in one day. To establish a thriving population in a new habitat is v difficult, and for deep water and delicate species like peppermint angel is almost near impossible. Wat makes peppermint rare is not so much of its endemism, but the great depth in which it is found. Even if one day peppermint is found in another area, nearer, say Bali, it'll still be found at over 400ft deep and still make collection v difficult and expensive. A good example is Abei angel. It is wide range and can be found in indonesia water, but v deep. So to date not available in our hobby. Also to note, peppermint angel is even harder to keep alive then multibar or venustus. It requires v low temp, low lighting and v hard to get feeding. The first batch of peppermint available to the japanese long long time ago mostly perished.
  12. Two deepwater japanese fish. Not endemic to Japan. Threadtail anthias (Tosana Niwae) Plectranthias Japonicus (200m deep)
  13. I'm feeding dainichi and dr bassler pellets. I also feed mysis soaked in selcon. So our feeding regime is v similar. Some fishes jux refuse pellets. For example i can never get golden to eat pellets. U r so fortunate to have a pellet eating golden.
  14. CF has x1 argentatus butterfly (remember someone looking for it) Many beautiful caeruleolineatus damsels x2 Acanthocepola indica x2 male pseudocoris bleekeri wrasse
  15. Haha ya. But in case anyone who's uber rich and has no where to spend his money on can consider buying a peppermint angel.
  16. There are many more rare fishes which are unobtainable becos their habitats are protected. But peppermint is not protected in any form so tat makes it obtainable, but only if u are willing to spend 25k for the fish.
  17. One of the only two videos of peppermint angel on youtube!
  18. Congrats! Absolutely gorgeous with an interesting and challenging fish stocklist. Thumbs up for keeping alive some v difficult fishes like golden angel and rock beauty.
