What type of angels you keep together in your tank?
Digiman replied to yeo99's topic in FOWLR (Fish-only with Live-rock)
For me dwarf angels tend to bicker and fight in a smaller 3ft tank. Avoid too many dwarf in one small tank and add in fiercest one first. I used to keep flame, multicolor, golden and venustus in one same tank, 3ft. The multicolor killed the golden and venustus. Super fierce. Only the flame which is almost as fierce can live in harmony w it. -
Yes, but no into the display as it's too bright for the fish now. It is staying in the sump, in almost complete darkness which aids in the acclimatization of the fish. It's eating more and more MP. A v greedy fish.

Pseudochromis sankeyi/fridmani hybrid dottybacks
Digiman replied to Joe_P's topic in General Reefkeeping_
Amazing. But i prefer pure sankeyi. -
It's by far the rarest oddball encountered here, and expensive. Two weeks later when the discoverer of this fish returns from his re-service i may sell the fish to him if he is still interested. Meanwhile i'll feed the fish and pump its weight up and heal its tail to perfection! Cappucino, tat's a nice description. The brown bands are the trademarks of the fish suggested by its common name, the brown banded cusk eel. Not at all. Cusk eels are benthic bottom feeders. They prefer dead food, and in chunk forms.

Johnsoni and lunatus are similar in every aspect except for the color difference. Here is a johnsoni: -

This sirembo is already in its adult coloration and will not change color anymore. Max size for S.Jerdoni is 5" and this sirembo is near 3.5", which is already a grown adult. In captivity it'll likely not grow any much further. Sirembo seems to be a pgymy cusk eel genus, maxing out at 6 to 7" for the biggest species. From pics on the net, there is no notable color difference between a juvenile and a full grown sirembo.

This is an extremely rare cusk eel. Not much captivity info available on the net. Still waiting for its burnt tail to heal.

Guess difficult to ID properly. Just like there are some un-ID anthias at CF and many more undescribed luzonicthys and rabaulicthys anthias. -
