  1. I had a pair this small from Iwarna hawaii shipment b4. But sadly i killed it in a stupid accident. xhatch v easy to get. Order from LCK or Iwarna and the next shipment u will see them. But they always arrive in 7 to 8" size. Getting one that is 4" is extremely rare.
  2. Sgpore v hard to get all the sulawesi fishes. Only v rarely will CF and ML get some sulawesi fishes. Really hope to see some skeletor eels and aurantidorsalis fairy soon.
  3. Stocks from PIA. XL alpha male rhomboid V rare small size xhatch trigger pair. The male is only 4.5"! V rare AT hybrid.
  4. From LADD. Paracheilinus sp. Rabaulichthys squirei. I cant see the difference between these coral sea squirei and 10 times cheaper cf.suzuki that we can get from philippines.
  5. All the three photos of the aberrant velvet wrasse available from BBox.
  6. Plectranthias winniensis. A v rare plectranthias. Collected from hawaii it sells for S$4500. But can also be found in Japan waters and it costs about $500. Although they labelled those caught in Japan as Plectranthias Sp., but i cant see any difference between it and winniensis. The photo posted is one that was labelled plectranthias sp. and costs 28350 yen (approx S$500). BH previously had winniensis from hawaii for sale and sold them at 298000 yen each (approx S$4500). Do a search on this thread of winniensis for more photos and see if u can find any difference between winniensis and the sp.
  7. Old woman angelfish at BH. This african angelfish is v v rarely caught in africa as it is most commonly found in south africa together with the v rare hoefleri butterfly which is also v rarely available.
  8. Venustus angel is also less commonly known as half-moon angel becos usually when pple say half-moon angel we refer to the Maculosus angel from redfsea. So the better common name we use for venustus should be purple-mask angel. Otherwise it'll be best we stick to the name venustus angel which all of us are most familiar with. To me venustus is a big waste of money! I would say the survival rate is less than 10%. That means if u see a batch of 10 venustus at LFS, either only 1 will survive, or all will perish. That being said however i do not discourage pple to try venustus becos it's beauty is worth many attempts if u can eventually get one to survive. I love the fish a lot but i've have v v poor luck, so after too many failed attempts then i learnt to give up.
  9. But they grow big and v ugly. Tat damsel is not an aberrant. It is the v rare Dascyllus marginatus which is available only thru redsea shipments. Red sea shipment is v common around the world. We get redsea shipment a few times a year and almost every LFS will carry redsea fishes when it is in season. But if u r expecting to see some of the rare fishes featured above by lemon, then forget it as our redsea shipment only carry the cheaper and more common species.
  10. V difficult butterfly to keep alive. Quite a common fish from aussie shipment. Look out esp for aussie Sealife shipment, they brought in aureofasciatus butterfly a few times.
  11. The small misbar bandit is amazing too. Also the big gem tang and conspic! But typical HK FOWLR, the tank is small but has so many fishes. But the fishes always seem healthy.
  12. This was the juvenile abei angel (2.5 to 3cm) that was photographed in Japan Miyazaki, at a depth of 5m only.
  13. In the wild, in japan waters, they are frequently found in pairs.
  14. The difficulty is a big big issue! If it's so difficult to keep alive even $28 is considered expensive. However if i can get a healthy, eating and well conditioned piece like wat was offered by LADD, i dun mind paying three times the amount. Yap, but most likely in areas where there's no collection. Otherwise we should have seen it by now.
  15. Difficult genus jux like leopard wrasse. I'll try once at least, maybe one day if i can get lennardi. One of my favourite fish: valenciennea bella (one for sale at $250 in Japan LFS Sangodo)
  16. Beautiful. I remember it died of internal complications? Was it easy to feed?
  17. Absolutely gorgeous. But feminus are so rare and so difficult. I can make do w lennardi, but even that is super rare here.
  18. That's a terrible typo i made. I meant add the fiercest last and not first. Thks for correcting. Yes size matters a lot in fact. It is smart of u to add in a small multicolor and a big multibar, smaller also means less fierce. If it's the reverse the multicolor will kill the multibar. Adding a few dwarfs simultaneously also help to divert aggression. That said i still feel multibar is an extremely difficult angel to succeed unless it is the only dwarf angel in the tank with the most peaceful and stable environment. Even that the survival chance is low. Not worth keeping a tank with only multibar as the only dwarf.
