  1. Even the peppermint angel at waikiki was so healthy! It shows that with proper collection, deepwater fishes are not as tough as we think. But one thing for sure that contributes to their success is the provision of low temperature during acclimation.
  2. But we cannot discount the possibility that narcosis may be hardier than colini although they are closely related. But rufus specialise in deepwater collection. If there is anyone capable of collecting properly a fish as deep as narcosis, it has to be rufus!
  3. Amazing fish! So fat so healthy. I love the setup. Dim lighting with lots of nooks and crannies to create a deepwater and peaceful environment for the narcosis!! Breathlessly beautiful.
  4. Er not reli la. Only one fish u like and still dun hav according to your list.
  5. Yes mccullochi!! My dream clowns!

  9. Ya lor but tat's if it comes, no news yet. But should it be available in the near future i'll have to let go this pair of latz to a better home. Anyway dont be too sad on your phoebe. One day it will come again.
  10. Nice tank!!! I fell in love with the refugium! It will be a good idea for my future setup but i'll not use it as refugium, i'll convert it to a deepwater nano fish setup!
  11. Thank u. the anemone is actually bigger. Vid taken after a rescape so the anemone did not open up much. I'll take another vid next time.
  12. No time. Bigger tank is a chore! No. The gem tang was ordered from M3. So anyone interested can order from M3 when they have stocks. The female latz now is slightly below 3" and the middle bar is very thick. Very beautiful pair of latz and i cant bear to part with them. The latz can grow to 6".
  13. Thanks all. The clarion is too big. Looks a bit out of place. I hope it'll grow very slowly. The clarion is very orange. Hope pellets i feed her will sustain the deep orange.
  14. Haha coolguy! I gave the same response as u when he told me that.
  15. LCK also has many purple tangs small and medium. One PNG emperor with streamer. A few snowflake clowns. Rhomboid females. x2 helfrichi. CF also has a rare serranus annularis, some nigripes clowns, one big joculator and a few naokoae fairy.
  16. Anyway for those new and interested in clarions, it has always been an expensive fish. HK now selling upwards of S$4k and Japan at S$6k to 7k. Our price may be lower, but dun expect it to be a lot cheaper.
  17. According to advancedaquarist, it turns out to be collected by cortez marine again and 130 specimens were collected this time.
  18. New BBOX rarities! Prognathode brasiliensis ultra lemonpeel hybrid V rare juvenile size clarion
  19. CF many argi angels many chalk basslets tobacco basslet x1 cocos lemonpeel angelfish x1 female flame wrasse queen angels FEEDING redsea larvatus butterfly (I m amazed!) swalesi basslet
  20. Our LFS are offered some very rare fishes as well. But they are scared to bring in because nobody will buy. I regularly get offers for certain rare fishes but the price is so high that i urge the LFS not to bring in because likely no one will buy and the LFS will make a huge loss if the fish die. Personally i feel these super expensive fishes should continue go to Japan and US where there are reefers who are willing to pay high price to justify its rarity and its difficulties of collection.
