  1. The common name of C.Sanguineus is Blood-Stained fairy wrasse and i think it's so appropriate cos the fish does look like it has its body stained by blood! Hopefully we'll one day since we do get mauritius shipments from Henry.
  2. There may be a C.Sanguineus along w 6 gem tangs from mauritius appearing in US soon..
  3. Not surprising. Too much transfer and fluctuations in salinity has prob stressed the fish or the fish is prob caught by cyanide so doomed to die. I'll not qt these fishes at all if i've to choose. Hope the best for the other two survivals. U should stop fluctuating the water parameters and let things stabilise and it should increase their chance of survival.
  4. Only two pairs? Now those who bought your chrysogasters can rejoice. Makes me regret not getting the clowns at ML last time!
  5. It's banned? Which means it'll be the same story as mccullochi. Fuel u own so many pairs now, can make big money out of them already!
  6. P.Brasiliensis is nice, but i like P.Aya and P.Marcellae more.
  7. Jux buy less fishes and save the money for the wrought instead? It'll be 1k or hopefully lower, cheaper than interruptus. I believe in buying few fishes u like rather many fishes u can afford. Below pic shows a v nice contrast in colours between the 3 fishes. Maybe something i can head towards in the near future if i end up w a wrought iron instead of pauscifasciatus.
  8. There's another chaetodon tat looks rather similar to mesoleucos but it's v rare and unobtainable. It's Chaetodon nigropunctatus.
  9. Agree, it's like comparing carmabi to swalesi. The latter pales in comparison!
  10. Butterflies swim in the open in large group at big sizes. So big ones are easier to catch. Small juvi are singly and hiding or deeper so v hard to come by. I beg to differ, i think pauscifasciatus is more worth to get. Both are beautiful to me but i'm sure pauscifasciatus will come in smaller size and also it does not require low temp like daedelma plus it's pron ten times cheaper!
  11. Not brought in before by LFS i think, or i've not seen it being brought in yet. The only one i've seen is a huge one at 7 inches on display w a large conspic in Aquarama last year. Literature says it's v easy except for getting too big in size. The big mesoleucos at aquarama was brought in by the same supplier of our recent gem tangs and conspics, so if u're interested in getting one u'll know who to approach.
  12. Yap i remember they told me end of the year. But i only intend to keep one butterfly, pauscifasciatus or daedelma, depending on which one comes in first.
  13. C.Altivelis is v easy to keep and feed. The pic is not altivelis but the rarer Coradion chrysozonus.
  14. Haha ya C.Altivelis is imo one of the nicest sail-fin type butterfly. But too bad i wan to keep a C.Pausifaciatus or C.Daedelma instead.
  15. Do u mind pm the price of your golden angels, as well as a bit more details on their current condition like feeding and swimming behaviour and fin conditions and how their doing w each other so i can consider. Thanks a lot.
  16. U're adding coradion altivelis?? I tot last time when i was w u at LCK u say the fish is not v nice!
  17. Recently my luck on fishes also seem to be running out. Got the 2 terelabrus rubrovittatus from fuel but one jumped out of QT during the first night and died! The QT has 8 inches of glass clearance and the fish still able to jump, i mux say it's the greatest jumper i've encountered. Left one but still hiding in the main tank, v shy and not sure if i'll ever see it again. Let me think about the golden angel, how big are they again? I'll contact u if i decide to try again.
  18. Oh so u're the murderer of the longest surviving wild colini in singapore ever.
  19. I remember someone here in sgreef sold his pellet eating colini which he kept for 2 years. I remember someone in reefcentral from SA has a venustus for years and still gg in strong. Always envy pple who can keep their fishes alive for many years not to mention difficult ones. Normally barely exceed a year some misfortune will befall and wipe out my entire tank. After seeing lemon's golden angel i feel like trying another time, which LFS still have stock?
  20. Colinis, goldens. Next will be venustus and multibar i guess. Hope u succeed in these difficult fishes which i'd long given up.
