Hawaii supplier know their fishes unlike philippines supplier. So v unlikely a nahackyi will escape their eyes. Look at the so-called block angel and shepardi flame hybrid at RB, a bit different from normal flame they quickly label it special and sell at high price. On the other hand philippines supplier are poor in knowledge on fishes. So i hope one day an abei angel will come in and supplier has no idea of wat fish is it and sell at rusty angel price. -

Nahackyi habitat is not protected but is out of bounds becos it's a military area, so that's as good as protected. -

Semifasciatus is not rare, can easily get if he wants to. Except for debelius, the rest are near to impossible, unless there is target collection for them. However these collections are difficult to arrange and involve a lot of issues apart from money. Like the collections for clarions and clippertons are done only by cortez marine becos the boss has some relationships w the mexican officials and is able to pull some strings to realize the collection of these fishes. Not anybody rich could hav done it, and that applies to chingchai as well. Even for the protected area there is still a way to obtain the fishes if u're able to pull some strings, a good example will be the mccullochi clowns story. -

Very cute. Looks like true perc to me, but i sucks at clownfish ID, but ask fuel or joe. Mind sharing where is it from? I'll easily take the eukrines and rusty flame!! Also this rare trigger has been also on DD for ages! -
So nice, they keep so closely together and w the backdrop looks so natural. Especially like the top down shot, feels like in some tidal pool.

This one temperate water so not popular. But blenny should be able to adapt quite well. Brought in b4 by RB, but the price is as usual ridiculous at 500 for one sacura!! This one need expert care! -

Since u are changing another skimmer den no need to bother tune it anymore. Personally for skimmer i'll still go for first hand unless i can get from a trustworthy seller or at an irresistable cheap price. Also u're getting another octo??! Listen to my advice, u like something does not mean u need to keep numerous of it. For example the flamebacks and your upcoming flame wrasse harem. For corals are the same. Too many of the same type will quickly make u grow bored of the fish. Even for the rarer fishes is the same situation, like interruptus when they come in so frequent and in bigger numbers, the fish jux lose the appeal v fast. Variety will brighten a reef tank more and make u stay interested in the fish or coral for a longer time. The idea of a group or harem is always a dream of every reefing hobbyist but those in the hobby long enough know it's not feasible becos the fishes dun stay in a group or harem or school together in our tank. If u keep more they will jux swim all over the tank separately and loosely and make the tank looks so much like an LFS stock tank and become duller and one will grow bored of everything fast. This is jux my little advice and personal opinion and i'm sure there are some who disagree w me. So u can decide for your own if u fall under this category.

In Mpolleti tank right, i recognise his joculator. Anyway Brian Greene may hav started collecting. The first batch of the v rare Johsoni fairy wrasse from Marshalls after such a long time. This batch is the new arrival at Blueharbour and selling at 900 sing each. Again lemon, I'm not bias towards the japanese but u see this is another evidence of them getting all the rarest things in the world! Whoever wans this fish can order from BH as they do ship to South East Asia including Singapore. -

Beautiful tank (another beautiful SPS tank w rare fishes). Belong to Tanu at RC: Notable are the gem tangs, alpha roseafascia fairy, flame angel block, carmabi pair -
I rememer u told me u jux did a water change recently right? The water change may cause skimmer to underperform for a while. After a while things should get back to normal and start skimming out stuff. U can try adding products like AZ-NO3 (i've passed u a bottle) or FM ultralife which enhance skimming. Deltec is suppose to be a good skimmer and if it does not skim out anything then probably changing to another skimmer will not help much either. However your skimmer is second hand so it's hard to say if the skimmer is still in good working condition. Pinnacle coral shipment. A lot of pinnacle corals are shifted to Iwarna for sale.

Haha your reply sounds like u're the boss of Iwarna now. -
The carribbean photosynthetic gorgonians are the most popular in Japan and US cos they are so nice. But sadly v few varieties reach us. Hope RB can bring in more of these beauties as their carribbean supplier is the best thus far. I'm never a big fan of SPS or expensive LPS tank. Softies dominated is more my cup of tea as it's cheaper, easier and i can continues to keep angels and butterflies. And below are some of the old japanese soft corals dominated tank which are my inspirations (look at some of the super rare fishes in their tanks, lucky japanese pple). I hope can add a few more finger and seafan and grow to be like their tanks.

Both look v healthy. Esp the true octo, hope no melting will happen to any of the heads.

Japanese fishes: Chaetodon modestus and Selenanthias analis. S.Analis is a v rare perchlet from japan water and costs five times the price of interruptus when it's available in Japan. Sadly both require low temp to do well. -

In public aquarium ventralis anthias do well in one or two among big and boisterous fishes. I'll try jux one or two next time. -

Deepwater tank featuring fuscipinnis anthias -
Yes, the thickness and fluffiness of your gorgonian has to be appreciated in person. It's brown but at least it's photosynthetic, that means without feeding it'll still survive and do well as long as ample lights are provided. Whereas those colourful ones always die after a while.
-
The shape is v nice, but polyps does not open big enough. Wilsontan's one is really fluffy! I'm thinking maybe it's a lack of flow for mine.

It's a big branch in Iwarna's display tank which auntie keep for herself. So i see it for many weeks wanted it v much but tot it's not for sale. Until one day the gorgonian end up in the outdoor tank, den i enquire and there this malay guy i think is Iwarna's neighbour, he say belongs to him but he can sell to me so it ended up w me. If u're interested, there are quite a few v big branches at Jireh. But they are really big and long. I'm hoping my gorgonian will grow into the one like wilsontan's. His is really gorgeous w big polyps extension.
