  3. Latest Update for my pic: Highest scorer is now Veliferum with a score of 17/18! Now to beat veliferum we need someone with a full score, my pic is easier, so it's possible.
  4. Latest update for my pic. Highest Scorer: Iskay (13 correct / 18)
  5. It's unfair haha, u already knew some of the answers. If u did not know, u probably will take longer, but still will eventually complete the list.
  6. Haha guys if u scared pple copy, u can either pm me or lemon your answers. And we'll post your number of correct but without your answers here. So tat others can know who is leading but yet cannot try to copy.

  8. Hi all, Prizes: 1) New unopened bottle of ON formula two flake food. My favourite fish food, fishes that dun eat pellets will more likely eat flakes. 2) 2/3 left bottle of FM ultralife. Great product to reduce phosphate and nitrate. Ok here is the picture for ID: Rules There are 18 fishes for you to ID in the above picture. U are to complete the following list of 18 fishes following the template closely. The names are all scientific and strictly no common names! There will only be one winner and the one who fill up the most number of names correct and the fastest will be the winner. 9. Hmm most of u seems to hav given up on the fight to beat veliferum in lemon's ID game! He got 9 correct and there are at least two more fishes u can ID correctly to beat him! Hint: One of it being an anthias! I'll be posting my pic next so that those who have given up can try mine. Stay tuned.
  10. If u can get oman and fuscocaudatus i dont see any difficulty in you getting barberi.
  11. Barberi from Fiji? For you, is it v hard to get barberi?
  12. Tricinctus is not too hard to obtain. Maybe Mccullochi?
  13. I'm curious, what are the two other clownfishes u dont have now apart from fuscocaudatus?
  14. Wow with that huge collection of rare clownfishes u hav to share pics with us in this forum. Or is there another forum where we can see pics of your collection? I'm not a huge fan of clowns, but some of your clowns are super rare and unobtainable in the trade! Are u into breeding them? Cos clownfish are the easist to breed from wat i know and it'll be great if u can share your knowledge of these rare clowns with our local clownfish breeder fuel and hopefully one day these rare clowns will be made available in the trade.
  15. Welcome. Interesting tat your first post is a clownfish, and a rare one in this hobby. There are many clownfish experts here, one of them being fuel. If u are interested in clownfish and breeding, u should contact some of our local breeders here, one of them being fuel. They will hav a lot to share with u!
  16. My ID game and price i'll start only after lemon's one ends. This is to avoid confusion. To make things easy, lemon and I will be the judges to who can identify the most number of correct! There may be some disputes over the ID of the fishes once the results is disclosed, but i hope contestants will respect the decisions of the judges and as judges we'll be as fair as we can. My comments for the participants until now as follows: Onizuka (Out of 11, there are 8 correct!) 1) Lysmata amboinensis 2)Nemateleotris helfrichi 3) Labroides dimidiatus 4) Pseudanthias pulcherrimus 5) Apolemichthys arcuatus 6) Pseudanthias ventralis 7) Pseudanthias Flavoguttatus 8) Pseudanthias bartlettorum 9) chaetodon tinkeri 10) Genicanthus personatus 11)Liopropoma Rubre Veliferum (Out of 11, there are 9 correct!) 1) Lysmata amboinensis 2) Nemateleotris helfrichi 3) Labroides dimidiatus 4) Apolemichthys arcuatus 5) Pseudanthias ventralis 6) Pseudanthias flavoguttatus 7) Genicanthus personatus 8) Hypoplectrus gummigutta 9) Liopropoma multilineatum 10)Gramma loreto 11)Chaetodon quadrimaculatus So currently Veliferum has the most number of correct. Hint: There are at least 11 fishes that u can try to ID correctly. Some may require a bit of bold guessing and as to right or wrong, me and lemon shall be the judge of it.
  17. Fish reserved till tmr for collection. Thank u.
  18. Hi all, Item: One Yasha Goby Description: Bought recently from Ah Beng at $20. Selling becos the yasha chased my whitecap goby out of its burrow! Selling Price: $10 Collection: Woodlands, Prefer FCFS. Further enquiries pls sms at 96951347 or pm me. Thank You. Pic as follow. From the net but my fish looks exactly the same.
  19. Wow a rare butterfly from Easter. This shouldn't be hard at all for Iskay and poomoon!
  20. Correct! It's the ignitus Anthias. Ignitus and Dispar are v similar. But some tell tale signs of ignitus are Purple eye, red "forked" appearance to the tail, yellow lower half of the back end of the dorsal fin and for alpha males, a little red dot on the pectoral fins. But of course the easiest way to tell ignitus or dispar is to ask the price. $5 u are buying dispar, $35 and u are buying Ignitus! So next time when the LFS qoute u $35 for a dispar looking fish dun think they are trying to con u, cos u maybe looking at the rarer and more expensive ignitus anthias! Now left lemon's wrasse.
  21. Haha no la, i will not post a dispar anthias and furthermore how can a dispar anthias costs $35. This anthias is v similar looking to dispar anthias, but it's rarer and can only be found occasionally in Sri Lanka shipment here.
  22. Another fish for u all to try: Hint: This anthias is occasionally available at CF and LCK thru their Sri Lanka shipment and it costs about $35 each!
  23. Awesome! Yes it's Cheilinus Oxycephalus, also known commonly as snooty wrasse. It's a fish we can regularly get at CF, normally at the size of 2 to 3 inches big. However something to take note of is this fish the body colour can be variable from greenish brown to bright red. The pic i posted jux now is the most beautiful colour form of bright red, which has been brought in by LCK several times already. Those at CF ones are not as red and most of the time may look like as dull as this below: Very easy wrasse to keep, and not too aggressive. If u can find a bright red snooty wrasse, it will be a v nice fish to keep!
  24. Mux up the challenge. Try ID this one, it's not hard. Hint: This fish is a wrasse of course. It can be found in CF now! Occasionally will appear in LCK also! Cheap and beautiful wrasse but not v reef-safe cos will disturb shrimps.
