  1. I saw the red dragonet at ML. But i din recognize it as morrisoni. Thought it looks more S.stellatus to me. Is it easy to keep?
  2. I thot it was a wiebli too. But on second look it is diff, and when i look at the price, it is quite ex and not cheap. Den i read closely and it is a hybrid!!
  3. Synchiropus morrisoni is v hard to get. If u only get the female without a male how to breed?
  4. V cute juvenile multicolor. Multicolor rarely comes this small!
  5. CF has some juvenile carribbean porkfish, Anisotremus viginicus.
  6. V rare small C.Chrysocephalus, about 6cm. This one is only going for S$1500.
  7. And now for the once in a lifetime hybrid!! A pakistani x racoon butterfly! This fish came in from a maldive shipment and is selling at 49800 yen at a Japan LFS(e-aquarise.net) which is about S$770. What's more valuable is this fish is only 6 to 7cm.   8. Rare fishes for sale at Splashsea Japan: 1) Roa Modestus, 11cm, S$300. This is one butterfly that i hope to get one day! 2) Microgobius Carri. V rarely available from West Atlantic. Through caribbean shipment. 3) Lastly the ultra rare Rainfordia opercularis, 9cm only. Price: S$12000!!! It is on par with the price of personatus angel!! Here is an update video showing it feeding on mysis. A really cool fish.
  9. If u dun mind spending, highly recommend liverocks from coral farm. It has one of the best quality LR there, but also the most expensive (about $16 per kg i think). If u want cheaper LR u can get from Iwarna (about $8 per kg i think). Most LFS will sell LR, like Ah Beng, LCK, ML etc. Price is less than that at CF.

  12. Hawaii endemic: Red Stripe pipefish (Doryrhamphus baldwini) This fish is v difficult to keep.
  13. Thanks Terry for the name. It is Xiphasia setifer. Can be found in indonesia shipment, but it requires a deeper sandbed to dive in and may be hard to feed. not really suitable for home aquarium. But still an interesting fish to watch.

Be it rare or common. Perhaps an update on how many sailfin anthias left at CF for those who just visited the place? I may need to get some females.
