  1. Different! The one u bought is not a goby but a blenny. It is sailfin blenny, emblemaria pandionis. A rather common import from carribbean. This sailfin goby is a rare import from cebu. It is a true goby, a flabelligobius sp, and it's a shrimp goby which pairs with pistol shrimp. I pair mine with a randalli pistol.
  2. I feel so too. Not v colorful but has the most unique pattern i've seen in lemonpeel hybrids. The black patch in the middle is so striking. One day maybe a completely orange rusty flame with no stripes at all will appear! It'll then be the most gorgeous and true "mango" angelfish!
  3. Another rusty flame. This has the least stripes i've seen.
  4. Hi, 1x flabelligobius goby for sale. Common name is Magnificent sailfin goby. Fish is about 2" long. I bought from Cf at $107 and has kept for a few weeks. Feeding on mysis and prawn meat. This goby is bold and hardy, a good fish for rare goby collector or nano tank keeper. Selling price: $100. Fish look exactly the same as pic below: Collection: Woodlands. Pm me or sms at 96951347 for further enquiries. Thank you.
  5. Seachem will be bias against other brand's product (they also produce their own copper test kit) so it will not be fair to ask for their opinion. Personally tried API copper test kit, v inaccurate. So dun recommend.
  6. Aberrant bicolor at B-box posted b4 at RB. Another rusty flame
  7. Misbar rainfordi butterfly White ghost tang new pic (how good if the fish will stay white forever)
  8. A lot of hybrid fishes are actually "uglier" than their parent species. But because hybrids in marine are rare, hence they are more highly valued compared to their more beautiful parents.
  9. After adding carbon and a long time for copper effect to wear off, actually certain hardy corals (most softies and LPS) can be kept. My old 5ft tank which i coppered also housed many softies after many months of carbon removal. But i experienced the same problem too, ich found its way back. So LCF dun think ich is gone just because u dose copper. They can and will always find their way back somehow when u stop dosing copper.
  10. Lemonpeel hybrid, flame w broken stripes, tiger beauty, a random juvenile joculator and a v rare juvenile cocos keeling lemonpeel! Which one will u choose?
  11. Two gems from mauritius! Gem tang and piscilineatus flasher.
  12. V useful info for those who wish to run a copper main tank. But most reefers here are more coral and reef then FOWLR. So v few will want to go for a full copper main display.
  13. U realised it! The flame i dunno. But the biolor definitely look special.
  14. Rusty flames are as different as fingerprints. Every fish has different colors and patterns. Too bad my is way too aggressive to keep in a small tank. It has gone to a bigger and a better home. Below is a rusty flame with v little black stripes.
  15. The O.Chrysostictus tank is done. Of course it is a deep water setup with livestocks that can hold themselves up against the holy grail chrysostictus anthias. The fish list as u can see from the pic: pseudanthias rubrolineatus, cirrhilabrus lanceolatus, bodianus sanguineus, sacrua magaritacea, odontanthias chrysostictus etc.
  16. I agree. U should add more rocks. CF has some really nice rocks, but bloody expensive!
  17. The water change might hav help to regained its appetite. Keep up with your water change and the condition should get better and better. Do not redose until u see signs of ick again.
