Digiman replied to Digiman's topic in FOWLR (Fish-only with Live-rock)

Nice right! More orange and bigger patch of orange marking den the normal argi. Beautiful product, kudos to RCT! We can expect some hybrids next year and some rare CB species like colini from RCT. Hope we can get our LFS to order for some. -

More pics of the Hawaii cherub. Two pieces were sent to BH and are now selling 8800 yen (about S$130) each. -

Definitely got racoon blood. The other not too sure. Here is an angelfish sent to Blueharbor from RCT Dr Frank: It is called the hawaii cherub angel. Mass production to be expected next year. -

It'll be interesting to see whether this influx of semi angels will just be a temporary one and after go missing again for many years to come. But i highly doubt so. Seems like the fish is re-appearing becos of an increase in popularity and demand and as such should become a staple, but wont be as staple as melanospilos. Anyway here is a thread by zumaboy at rareclownfish.com which i find interesting and recommend all reefers to read and start pondering about designer's clown's worth and its future. Conversation between two clownfish -
Following my footsteps? I don't walk as fast as you la. Within less than 2 weeks u stocked a conspic, bandit and gem tang. I never stock that rapidly. As other reefers mentioned, u r "fast and furious".
-
Btw from the video, the bandit looks at least 4". Maybe 4" exactly, but not below that. But the water still cloudy, but is improving can tell. Where's the goldflake and AT?
-
If u can get all the above listed into one tank, together with you bandit and conspic, it'll be the most expensive and impressively stocked tank in singapore! Sadly most of the fishes u listed i've kept them before but were no longer with me, and for two of them, i remain the only person here who has kept them before, which is v lucky of me and is also a great honour for me.
-
Rusty flame u mean and not rusty. My particular piece of rusty flame is super aggressive, guess maybe it has a lot of rusty blood tat's why. The one u got from me contains more flame blood and i think it may be less aggressive. however all these are just conjectures, which most likely is not true as afterall it depends on individual fishes.
-
Curious to see a 10" black tang. Must be quite scary looking to hit that size.
-
In a way yes. They came from a hawaii shipment through CF. But they are CB clowns and raised in hawaii, though naturally they are endemic to australia. I like peaceful fishes. The rusty flame is v nice but is too aggressive. Now u know my headache when i had the fish.
-
Thank u. Actually the tank not nice, but the fishes are v rare and it takes a lot of time and rare opportunities to collect. Most of them are v dear to me and i wish i can keep them for v long, but there are a few that i may remove if i can obtain the rarer substitutes.

Beautiful! The grown up misbar latz is not too bad. I like it! -
My tank is too small. Furthermore i do not like two of the same centropyge. Leaving the space for something rarer!

These are extremely rare. Only vanuatu lemonpeel hybrids can produce these standards. -

It goes away with age. And pretty quickly. As quickly as an africanus losing its blue. -

Look like taken in an aquarium. But walindi was never available in the trade before, just like cenderawasih. -

Cook island helfrichi, C.sanguineus, P.piscilineatus, P.flavicauda.... All the above are one of my dream fishes and the first three three i almost had the chance (some hope at least) to buy them, but never came true. -

I prefer pseudochromis sankeyi. But both springeri and sankeyi have been captive bred. But no LFS wants to bring in...
