  1. Yap Rubre is much more beautiful, compared to swalesi. However when compared to carmabi, it loses shine. Hope one day can see at least one carmabi hit our shore.
  2. Yes they are different, aurora(also called yellow margin basslet) is endemic to Hawaii deepwater and extremely rare. Whereas Liopropoma sp. (also called yellow tail basslet), not as splendid, can be found occasionally in bali shipment, and hence of course cheaper. We'll most likely not see aurora at all here!
  3. For Borbonius Lover, what is rare fish here is food to native pple of another country at $17 per kg:
  4. Let's see some pics of the deepwater, rare genus, liopropoma (to date only the more common swissguard and swalesi are available): Sources: Coralidea, Advancedaquarist, reefkeeping, saltwaterfish.com, blueharbor, marinelifephotography. Liopropoma Swalesi
  5. Great News: Mccullochi Clowns are successfully bred, some of them are showing up at US for sale at US$3-5K each. More info at: http://www.marinebreeder.org/phpbb/viewtop...sc&start=75
  6. Found the name of this butterfly, prognathodes basabei(1998)
