  1. Juvi clarionxpasser, adult clarionxpasser, Ugly colored clarion The fact that clarion hybridized so easily and readily with passer producing hybrids of many ugly variants makes me lose interest in this fish.
  2. Cirrhilabrus Naokoae, sumatra (newly described) Since it's so new not much info on the net either. Only CF has brought in this fish, expensive at $200. Will easily lose it's vibrant red and yellow colour from Law's experience if i'm not wrong. Getting a pair will be tough as juvi and females are not as commonly available and rather hard to identify. Pple with this fish should share more since it's so new and not much info on the net.. Pics shown are male, female, and a pair.
  3. Guess it's most likely shipping stress. Cirrhilabrus does not seem to handle shipping well. Female rhomboid from Hawaii died after 1 day. Got hooded wrasse (my personal favourite) twice from vanuatu shipment and both died the next day for no reason. Waiting to try a third time but vanuatu shipment does not seem to come anymore.
  4. Splattered Green(USD100), Orange(USD200) and purple hammer(USD300) (photo credit cherrycorals.com) Not into corals but seemed overpriced to me! The orange hammer looks very rare to me, never see before.
  5. May i know how did it die? Is it a difficult wrasse?
  6. And this is the infamous kingii angel, another fish that i can die in peace after seeing it in person!
  7. To cool guy, this is the clipperton angel. Expect a 5~6k price tag at least when it's available at LCK.
  8. Cirrhilabrus luteovittatus (velvet multicolor wrasse) Readily obtainable from Marshall Islands thru Hawaii shipments. Up to 5 inches and slightly aggressive. LCK, CF and Iwarna frequently have this wrasse and inexpensive. Also lose colour easily in v bright tank.
  9. Cirrhilabrus roseafascia Wide range, available from Vanuatu (rare, deep), Fiji (rare, deep), Cebu (relatively common, deep). Here only obtainable from Vanuatu shipment and is very expensive (at $300), we've no Cebu shipment if not roseasfascia are most commonly available from Cebu and cheaper. Largest of all fairy, up to 7+ inches. Slightly aggressive and will lose colour fast in a brightly lit tank.
  10. Should be around 3 blue notes... for a fish that will grow to become a kole tang! Kole Tang below:
  11. green note = $5 red note = $10 blue note = $50
  12. Tangs are herbivores and grazers, they will neither eat nor disturb clownfishes. Anyway it is better to keep jux a pair of clowns than a group in a 3ft tank. Trust me u'll be bored with jux a clownfish tank v fast.
  13. There's no real need to feed brain and bubble if u provide enough lights (8hrs). Occasional feeding of small chunks of market prawns can be beneficial though, jux place the chunks near the "mouth" and the coral will slowly devour the prawn meat.
  14. U're gg to need more than 5k. Saw the sub-adult clarion this afternoon, v beautiful and v hungry.
  15. LCK carribbean shipment nothing much. A lot of peppermint shrimp. For Orsony: Serranus Tigrinus (Harlequin Bass) Grows to 4 inches and adults eat crustaceans and small fishes, regular carribbean import, cheap. U can get it as it is still small should be safe with shrimp now.
  16. Thanks all for the interest in the Tunze. It's pending collection now. Left T5. Apologies to those that i did not reply.

  18. No, gg down to take a look only. It's not yet time to get this fish, it's price can still drop further.
  19. Once i also tot allardi has no fork tail whereas latifasciatus has it. But after seeing the allardis at LCK and being told by Fuel, allardis can hav fork tail and tail of both white and yellow or shades of both colours. So the middle wider bar is the only difference? That's such a fine difference, i reli hav to giv up on learning clownfish species.
