  1. Surprisingly no. The angels i've kept before, blueline, goldflake, conspic, bandit, regal etc, never touch sponges even when i offer to them. Maybe because they are the more mellow angelfish. Yes i remembered i've kept a 14" queen before for a while and it was v destructive! It will constantly pick on all kinds of growths (including sponges) on the liverocks and it's big mouth can pull off little chunks of rock pieces. Quite scary to watch.
  2. Thread closed. Tks.
  3. The common blue sponge u saw in LFS (e.g. Ah Beng and CF) requires Strong Lighting and good water flow and pristine water quality. They are collected from v shallow water under exposure to intense sunlight. Most LFS will thought they are like other sponges (those red and orange) that survive on filter feeding and as such put them in dimly lit tank and murky water and as a result the blue sponges are always not in v good condition. Before i decom my soft coral tank, i've kept 2 pieces. One at the v top of the tank is thriving but the other at the bottom of the tank receiving less light jux die gradually. Blue sponge is in fact the easier of the sponges family if u provide enough lights. Good luck.
  4. Bid ended. Winning bidders as follows: 1) Joculator Angel - Taken by somebody. 2) L.Latifasciatum - Apparently this fish ate too much that day causing bloated belly and nothing to do with swim bladder problem. Now back to normal and is healthy. Anyone still interested in this fish can pm me. 3) Helfrichi Firefish - $121 (ReefzLover) 4) P.Uroditaenia - $15 (Death z7) ReefzLover and Deathz7, will pm u. Second highest bidder will be contacted if there're any backouts. Thank U.
  5. It ought to be. It'll be good if the fish can be housed in a bigger tank, it looks really active almost like a tang.
  6. Arghh Conspic x Personifer. Makes me wan to get a personifer and hope they breed.
  7. This one shown before, it's a legend hybrid still. Queen x rock beauty
  8. Captive bred green banded goby from a website. Din know so ex, about S$110 a piece in HK LFS.
  9. Updates: L.Latifasciatum has been withdrawed from the bidding because it has shown suspicious symptoms of buoyancy problems (swiming head down). Highest bidders as follows: 1) Joculator Angel - 0 bid 3) Helfrichi Firefish - $120 (hmkui) 4) P.Uroditaenia - $15 (Death z7) Thank You.
  10. Wa wat fish so expensive u need to sell so many zoos? Anyway although i not a coral lover but can tell some of your zoos v exotic!
  11. Haha u muz be kidding, nobody here can afford! On the top of that the fish is not in the best health condition to sell either. It looks emaciated. Furthermore for such a RARE angel (ok i think the word rare is an understatement to this fish, this fish is practically unobtainable like ballinae angel!), the owner should be keeping it to his own and giving the best possible care to the fish and makes everyone envy of him and his fish. Is this fish in HK now? P.S. The tiny conspic is so cute!!
  12. Hi, i've a RIO 20HF (used about a year). Wish to trade with RIO 14HF (Priority) or RIO 12HF. Pls sms me at 96951347 if u have one to trade. Thank You.
  13. Wat other butterflies are there except for the copperband and rainfordi shown?
  14. nice to see this fish here nonetheless, hope whoever gets it dun run their temp too high, it'll shorten their lifespan.
  15. Yes, rock pool anemones which are taken from subtropical area. That's why also seldom seen becos require low temp.
  16. Yes, an uncommon fish for a reason, because it needs lower temperature. A group of sub-tropical Aussie Hulafish will make a fantastic combo with a Blue Devil fish, but chiller will hav to work doubly hard!
