  1. The book has any info abt A.Guezei? One day maybe i can borrow the book from u to read? Anyway pinnacle has your golden angel now..
  2. Lemon, thanks for buying the book and sharing the pics w us. All the photos u posted jux amazes me to no extent. Of which the trimaculatus x kingii and the picasso regal are two most stunning specimens!
  3. I absolutely agree. In fact frontosa is my least like species in Tangan fishes and the community who like frontosa is growing smaller as well. However if u're willing to lower the price there are always interested pple out there. When i sold my tangan (which consists of some rare cyprichromis and paracyprichromis) i also have to lower it to half my bought price to clear fast. Marines are still my all-time favourite. Hope to see u back soon. Ok so off-topic, so sorry sonny. Guess Ducado won the bid?
  4. If u are interested, most possible in HK, they get it frequently. But i doubt u interested cos it's not centropyge.
  5. Maculosus x Chysurus with more maculosus blood. Very rare import from Kenya, East Africa. HK gets all these rare hybrids including Koran x Chrysurus and sometimes Maculosus x Koran. We can only get all the other left over and common east african fishes. HK pple pay BIG money (more than clarion king hybrid) for mac x chyrsurus. They are mad about the fish. It's the lighting and the angle shot. All conspic looks 99% similar and are all beautiful imo. Keeping so many bandits in a tank makes the bandits look cheap. Wonder how many bandits the owner has tried to succeed with the current number. It's a mac x chrysurus as well but with more chrysurus blood.
  6. Yeah tell me about it. I think my neck is growing longer waiting for this hybrid from cebu.
  7. Bigbird, try selling your tangan fishes at arofanatics.com. Tangan fishes are in high demand, i cleared my 4ft full of tangan fishes in a easily at arofanatics few years back. Ok off topic, Up for a gigantic and stunning blueface.
  8. The bicolor is big, but still small compared to an adult interruptus. Love the A.Feminus and A.Lennardi, both fishes too difficult for me to keep!
  9. Nice and simple rockscape. Keep your rockscape minimal and your queen will be happy. Do u face any ick problem until now?
  10. Wa the second pic of the resplendens costs tens of thousands now! Indeed, a regal with the most distorted colours! I like it, so unique. U mention "was" so now is not your favourite anymore? Anyway holy grail of the holacanthus should be clipperton angel. But i personally fall for clarion more. Africanus at full grown size is not bad either. They're v easy and beautiful, but big and territorial.
  11. Eventually will as it's still a xanthic no matter how little blue it has. Tmr when u visit Iwarna help me look out for any flamexrusty though it's v unlikely. The small bandit still around at RB?
  12. Full grown Africanus can be beautiful as well: Rare fish at Interzoo 2010, Xanthic Bicolor:
  13. Why not jux get the colini at RB, they are starved for some time and should be slightly easier to start feeding and wean onto prepared food. Furthermore they've been there for some time so should be more stable. Getting newly arrived specimen during shipment harbours possible problems like internal parasites, decompression maladies and shipping stress etc. I got one week free ma, can get a new fish. Designers clowns (I prefer to call them mutated clowns) are the in things now in marine!
  14. Yes, temporary, leaving again in a week time. Great to hear the nice little frogfish is doing well. I cant buy la, sure die in my hand one, somemore muz live feed so troublesome. BTW where is our redsea pearlscale?!
  15. Long snout reminds me of humming bird. It may be a new species too! Dunno if the person caught it in deepdive or shallow. BTW there are no collection in Java right? Only Bali? Looks fake, like marker drawn. Sargassum trigger or the recently described Xanthichthys Dorsopunctatus from Christmas island? Does the flame frogfish still has buoyancy problem as seen in RB? How big can it grow?
  16. No now Tanga is rather common here already, most LFS(freshwater) carry considerable variety of stocks. Favourite LFS is NKS Kovan. Ok dun wan off-topic anymore better stop here.
  17. Wow! Din know triggerfish mate like this. So interesting.
  18. Bingo. Your avatar is also tangan cichlid, OPTHALMOTILAPIA NASUTA GOLD. Tangan fishes used to be my favourite and i've kept a 3ft tangan setup many years ago when tangan fishes are so hard to come by in Singapore. They are an interesting group of fish and if i ever grow bored w marine will definitely switch back to Tangan.
  19. OMG look like some fairytale creature. V nice, obtainable? But i not into seahorse and pipefish so prob cant keep it alive.
  20. Go get the carmabi when your new tank is up. The fish should still be around until then.
  21. They are not wrasses or gobies and not marine. They're Tanganyika Cichlids, freshwater.
  22. I've rewatched the RB carmabi video and yes it's not my hallucinations, the carmabi has brighten up quite a bit. V tempted now. P.S. Can talk more crap since u'll clear up the mess..
  23. There's nothing much to comment on as it's jux a Picasso w some nice whites. More white = More rare and for that platinum is the rarest. Of course i too feel it's v nice and i'll choose it over a platinum. Agree. Sick CB. Ugly but i posted cos tot maybe u interested can go down to RB and get it. No more blackfoot clowns, nice and cheap things sell so fast.. Carmabi seems to become redder (may be my illusion), can consider if they giv discount. Lemon, is the blue devil sold?
  24. Maybe the photos are v old! Yes, u can clean up this thread in anyway u wan, i dun mind. Ya actually the CB does not look exactly the same, but the color morph is the deepwater ones. Eh u feel hurt?
