  1. An article u may find interesting: Reefsafe Butterflyfish. Your mitratus is showing an abnormally high rate of breathing, it shows no interest in food. It's swimming properly but the breathing is worrying fast and i've a feeling it'll not last v long!
  2. No from web. There's a tailess regal tang in LCK now, but they're not selling.
  3. No high standards, jux feel that cyanosoma, bangai and leptacanthus are nicer. Apogon aureus shown above is nice also. Flame cardinal is nice also but sadly hard to keep in a group. There are so many cardinal species in the wild tat are not available to the trade. I prefer chromis. I wan vanderbilt chromis.
  4. All three are ugly. There are nicer cardinals around, even leptacanthus is nicer than all the three.
  5. That is a dragon eel also, from Brazil. There are two species of dragon eels. One is the Japanese Dragon eel(Enchelycore pardalis) found in Hawaii and Japan, and the one now at LCK is a Brazilian Dragon eel(Muraena pavonina). Of course the japanese dragon eel is the more outstanding and "dragon" one out of the two.
  6. After seeing the tailless regal tang at LCK, here's a tailless purple tang:
  7. Also have blue assesors, australian multicolor dottyback(Ogilbyina novaehollandiae) and an unknown black goby from australia.
  8. Seen it a few times and it's quite dull in person.
  9. 10cm is 4inches le. A bit too big. Never mind i'll snatch the smaller one that comes in! Still trying declivis? Go for Tinker la!
  10. I dun mind taking the bigger one. But pls too big i also dun wan!
  11. Liopropoma can be glutton. They'll consume too much food until so bloated that they cant swim properly sometimes. liopropoma and borbonius are two fishes that i realise always swim with "tail up". This "tail up" sign many of the times are due to decompression maladies which will cos the symptom to slowly worsen until the fish cant swim properly and eat anymore and eventually die with a bloat. But it can also be something natural and will not harm the fish. I've realised it in my past borbs and my current l.latifasciatum, the tail-up sign is on and off and does not affect the fish adversely. So it depends, if it does not worsen, then it'll subside on its own and the fish will still occassionally show these symptoms but nothing serious. But if it worsen then there's nothing we can do but to watch it die like how u've experienced for the past few liopropoma's.
  12. Deltec skimmers never go wrong! Ex but worth it.
  13. It's showing itself le, esp during feeding, but still v shy. Show a bit of face and then hide back to its favourite hole then cant be seen le. Beautiful fish but it's a shame the fish is so shy and hides too much. It's better to keep in a smaller and v peaceful tank to be able to appreciate it's beauty.
  14. Terelabrus rubrovittatus has the red stripe extending all the way to the tail. Whereas the undescribed one does not, it's strip patterns and body colours are also a bit different. Below is Terelabrus rubrovittatus, similar to the ones i got from u.
  15. They'll not die of dryness so easily. The moisture in the rocks is enough to keep them alive for many days. But without water majority of them will scurry out and u can take the chance to kill them. A few left in the rocks are inevitable unless u kill your liverocks w hot water or freshwater or copper, but that will defeat the purpose of getting liverocks.
  16. If u ask me wat's my list of nice and easy fishes: flame angel (not reli coral safe) purple tang swissguard basslet royal gramma bartlett anthias The above are easily obtainable, not overly expensive, hardy and beatiful. At some point of time i've kept them all but now none of them can be found in my tank and i dun think they'll ever appear again in my tank cos i've grown bored w them. Eventually u'll go for interesting fish more than beautiful fish.
  17. U're not a murderer as the fishes are prob cyanide caught or overstressed thru shipping and bad handling process so in whoever hands will not survive. Talking about murder, think terryz should be convicted!
  18. I c w proper filtration system den is ok. I'm jux afraid your little toyogo box will be filled w more and more fishes until overcrowding! How are the colini and golden?
  19. V cute and small looking mitratus. But where u gg to keep it?? In the toyogo box again? Your tank will prob be another month b4 it's ready, will the butterfly last long enough in the toyogo?
