  1. The flavo anthias are not the highlights. The Earlei Trio and the Pelicieri Pair are!!! He prob spend up to 7K on this five fishes! I'm so envious, next time go Thailand mux visit his tank!
  2. I think u can put in fridge and soak overnight will be better. Anyway bought 8 sunset anthias from CF today, hope they'll do well. Next time hopefully can have some flavoguttatus. If u see any pls notify me. Go look at Chingchai's build thread, he brought in some insanely rare fishes from Japan Blueharbour. Damn this guy is so rich!
  3. Yes feed it many times daily w food soaked in praziquantel. As i've said the fish has already feed aggressively, so it has no problem receiving the medication and den jux pray it'll cure it's internal parasite problem. All the best.
  4. Hope this fish will survive, it's so beautiful and has the potential to become male v quickly. So sad the two venustus will leave u v soon.
  5. Oh my! But i'm relieve to hear tat the parents are ok, so u can start over again.
  6. Me too. I'm not a fan of groupers, but G.Hispanus will be a v nice grouper to have.
  7. This hawkfish is interesting, although not v colourful. Do u have the scientific name of it?
  8. blackburnii, venustus, rainfordi, multibar, robustus, coradion altivelis, flavirostris, and mitratus H.Vivanus is not newly discovered. The japanese have been getting these deepwater carribbean anthias together with the other very deepwater carribbean beauties like Pronotogrammus martinicensis and Gonioplectrus hispanus.
  9. Yes pm reserve not counted, only posts in this thread are counted. So the fishes will be reserved for Mbmc for collection this weekend. Mbmc, i'll sms u again soon. Next in line will be weesy74 if the fishes are not collected by this week. Thanks all for the interest and apologies to those tat i did not reply in pm and sms.
  10. I did not take any pics of them but they look exactly the same as the photos below:
  11. Cost of living is so high in Japan, for fishes like wrought iron found abundant in their own water they are also paying upward of 1k for the fish. But something weird is they typically pay more for a 5" wrought than a 5" interruptus but when they export, interruptus costs more than wrought.
  12. It's v hard to stick to the list, have to be flexible with the fishes in the list. Anyway my list is quite realistic: Conspic, Bandit, Wrought Iron, C.Pauscifasciatus, Joculator... My tank is a low maintenance kind, if i wan to keep so many fishes as Iwarna i'll have to upgrade a lot of equipments and change water v frequently, too much work for a lazy person like me. Ya the lineatus is one of my greatest regret cos i grow sick of the fish quite soon, although it's still v colourful but the fish is jux not my type of fish. C.Robutus not as common and as popular as marcellae so it's not as frequently imported, the only one i've kept before came from SL during their west africa shipment w a lot a lot of robustus. Yellowmask i always see unhealthy one or only females.
  13. Hi, 1x Yellow Assessor(1.5 inch ~ 2 inch) $90 1x Blue Assessor(1.5 inch ~ 2 inch) $70 1. Healthy, perfect fins and scales, eating mysis and flakes greedily. 2. They are kept together in the same tank and there is zero aggression between them, occassionaly seen also swimming side by side. 3. Buy both at $150. 4. Collection during weekends, preferably this sat morning. Collect at Woodlands. Pls do not pm me, pls post here for any queries or reservations. FCFS and priority given to the person who can buy both. Thank U.
  14. When i saw the tank i was also v amazed. I've never seen so many difficult angels being kept in the same system and are all so healthy and fat. Tat's the good thing about big tank and big sump, the system is so stable and can withstand all diseases, able to replicate the same as the ocean. Something v hard for us to achieve.. I've also came up w a temporary list, recently bought too many small nonsense fishes tat i regret v quickly. So unlike of me to buy on impulse, dunno why i lose myself suddenly, mux be the series of unhappy events of not able to get the fishes i want like the latz, deformed angels. Gonna sell them all and go back to my patient stocking!
  15. I'm over with the fish deformities craze already. Dunno where i got tat stupid idea from. So your injured and not deformed blenny i not interested le. Nice, size is not too big also.
  16. Think is different one. I think it's ugly becos of the angle of the photo, but the fish is not v nice to begin w, so cant blame the photo much.
  17. Hmm maybe, but it was labelled sp. and is male. The following is the female:
  18. No, it's normal. On the other hand the following is an abnormal colouration of Cirrhilabrus aurantidorsalis, it may even be a new species.
  19. It's not vibrant w yellow and no blue can be seen. It's a dull greyish green with yellow linings, i cant say it's beautiful but i like it a lot becos of it's small size. I think one can easily argue tat the common green chromis is more colourful than vanderbilt. In my tank w dark settings, it looks exactly like the photo i attached below, maybe not as colourful as u imagined? Yes i've seen triocellatus in Ah Beng a few times also and quite cheap, slightly over one red note.
