OMG! Look at these hybrids and rare fishes!
Digiman replied to Digiman's topic in FOWLR (Fish-only with Live-rock)
The liopropoma mitratum are receiving no interests. Maybe i post a nicer photo here to advertise and raise awareness of the fish: -

U mean the chabanaudi or your nox? Chabanaudi is big, almost 4inches. I saw v few times but those i saw before were at least 4 inches which can start to attack inverts and eat small fishes. They grow really fast also. I like the colour a lot but too bad it's a grouper. Imagine serving this fish on the plate, so colourful! -
It may be swim bladder problem but is definitely not caused by decompression maladies becos fairy wrasses decompress quite well. The lineatus probably harbour internal parasites which has caused internal infections malfunctioning the swim bladder. Sad to say now even if u get medication for internal parasites it's to late le, your wrasse will die. Newly arrived fairies commonly die from internal parasites, jux get a new one next time and pray for better luck. Happened to me before for rhomboid, laboutei, lineatus etc.

Ah ya this purple grouper i forgot the name le. It's one of the more uncommon grouper w a v striking colour. This is a rare small size one from BBOX, else most are big and for aggressive fish only aquarium. U sour grape la! Saw a few of your nox at Ah Beng, they are so fat and healthy. -

I dun think anyone kept them b4. So i guess rare ba. Pics are all fish in the wild, so dun be fooled, in captivity may be v ugly! -

I wan! I dun wan! I wan! Pintail Fairy (Cebu) and Naoko fairy (Indo). Super rare Tonstrinum Basslet and tiny multibar. -
Ok wat 15cm not too big, u can keep it for yourself, a v uncommon wrasse and reefsafe also. Anyway the B.Chnabaudi swims at bullet speed, itself is shaped like a bullet also. Jux now it yawned and the mouth is so big tat seems like it can easily swallow any small fishes like dartfish and gobies. Think the mitratum will be food to the fish also if i dump it into he main tank!
-
Dun worry i'm jux kidding when i blame u for asking auntie to dump the fish into the tank. As u've said i've kept b4 and not as keen in keeping them again knowing how destructive they can be. But when i saw the size i want it so much again, so leave it to fate ba, if can trap i get else never mind.
-
Never mind i actually wan it becos of its small size. Never mind see how lo, if they can catch it out i get, else it's better also for the pair to reside in their bigger tank.

Earlei has no rhomboid tail even for the alpha male, so most likely another wrasse species. This is one super nice flasher tat no one has ever kept before.... If they can catch this, together w the latifasciatus clown can form madagascar biotope. -
I cant see any blue dots from the pics! Where is the hybrid part? It jux has a little more blue than normal. Anyway Lemon, i was at Iwarna jux now and i saw the x-hatch pair and i told auntie lilian i wan it, why u all so fast put in display tank for, such a good size xhatch v hard to come by and w their good price sure can sell quite easily to pple w big tanks. Her reply was ah ya is it, lemon tell me no one will buy trigger fish this big one and say the fish is perfectly reefsafe and will be v nice in the display tank and so he helped me to throw in! Hmm lemon see now they hav to trap the fish out for me, so mafan!!

Good to hear the rosea is doing well. Not miracle, prazi is the best medicine for internal parasite and it should be a muz have cos many fishes like wrasse and anthias come in w internal parasites. But too bad prazi is so hard to find in SG. Prob dead?!

It looks the same to me, but maybe my untrained eyes cannot tell the difference. But it costs almost ten times more at ML. Anyway there's a new batch of vanderbilt chromis (or i should say vanderbilt lookalike) at CF and as usual among the 5 to 6, at least half of them are breaking down! One of the most sensitive chromis. -

Here is a video of the uncommon and beautiful vanderbilti chromis: Sadly they can be quite sensitive and die easily. I got three from ML today and hope they do well for me. -

Males are v v hard to comeby. Females on the other hand are often see and are healthier. Why not get many females and wait for one to morph into male. I think we are gg off-topic already. To keep in topic: Still hav many flamebacks and radiant wrasses at ML. Some Vanderbilt Chromis left too. -

The Pelicieri are hawkfish family not anthias. Anyway if he can get the stuff from blueharbour prob we can do the same. But it's daunting when i think of the price! Anyway your venustus eating liao? Mine still hiding showing no interest to the food. Went to ML today w LCF and was v sad to learn tat Henry lost his gem tangs due to power outbreak.
