  1. Modding the bracket will not void the warranty. The warranty is more for the motor part. Anyway up for your search.
  2. See the modding of 6025 is so amazing. Surprise why so few pple here in SRC mod their 6025, or maybe they jux quietly mod but dun share the joy w everyone else.
  3. They're flooding the market now but here in singapore we cant even find a single one despite having philippines shipment weekly!!
  4. It's ok i think he can add one more 6025 modded to create more random flow.
  5. Ok getting too difficult for me, i giv up. The female is so big and ugly!
  6. Really admire your stocklist, the fishes u like are so different from what majority of pple like. Very unique taste and because of that u should understand why most pple will not be able to appreciate your tank or give positive feedbacks. Some fishes that i dun quite understand: 1. Why u keep a coral beauty? Is it a unique coloration one or it has always been one of your favourite dwarf angel? 2. There are only flasher wrasse, how come u dun like fairy wrasse like most pple do? For example common ones like flame, rhomboid, hooded all these will greatly brighten up your tank a lot more compared to the flashers u have now. 3. Isn't bartletts nicer than dispar, lori and randall? Why u dun keep bartletts instead since they're hardier and nicer. It isn't like dispar, lori or randalls are rare, they're all as common as bartletts, any special reasons u chose them or u simply like them more over bartletts? 4. Clownfish u dun like picasso? Pearl-eye clarki is nice, but black clown is errgh.... Not say not nice but a bit boring isn't it now w domino and midnight or even misbar black clown coming out. Even misbar latz are more interesting than black clown dun u agree? Haha not to challenge your choice of fishes but jux curious to know why u get all these fishes because u're in this hobby for so many years, probably longer than me, so thought your choice of fishes will be geared towards something more special or rare or at least something that most pple agree to be nice.
  7. Allopatric species, where did u get this term from? But anyway interesting term for a non-chemist and non-biologist person like me. Quite possibly the tinker, declivis, burgess and flavo are allopatric, but how to prove they're allopatric? Like chaetodontoplus personifer and meredithi are not allopatric, but centropyge resplenden and flameback are allopatric? Anyway hybridization across sub-genus is extremely rare. There is only a handful of occurrences in the marine industry.
  8. Possible but not true. In FOWLR tank water condition is not as good as in reef tank and overtime the nitrate level can be rather high. It's this drop in water condition and lack of a natural environment (the corals and the vibrant reefscape) that cause the fishes to look a bit dull. Temp play a minor part in that high temp stresses the fish and may cause colour loss.
  9. If u keep a whole tank of blue damsels it is feasible, no problem. But 3 feet is not a big tank, so if u add a whole group of blue damsels your tank will be full already and what are u trying to achieve from that? U've seen the fish tank in LFS where they kept a whole tank of blue damsels, do u like the tank? Cos that's wat your tank will become after adding a whole group of blue damsels without corals. If u are expecting to see schooling behaviour of the blue damsels in your 3 feet den forget it becos they'll not school even in a 5ft, they only school in nature and not in our tanks. If u are trying to create a schooling group of fishes, blue eye cardinals will be a better choice although they also dun school tightly in a 3ft. So the conclusion is no fishes will school in a 3ft. Hope this answer your qn.
  10. Is it? Ok let's hope it's true and the fish will not be stuck there like forever, if not RB will be despondent and reluctant to bring in rare fishes in future.
  11. A standard multilineatum and a very yellow multilineatum for comparison.
  12. Yes from your video it's indeed a chrysozonus, the thicker last band and less steep dorsal fin and the brighter colours of the band and also the abscence of ###### spot. Haiz to think i actually mistook it as a melanopus when i'm there. Good catch anyway!
  13. S$500 each that's the price they are selling in Japan. Affordable to many reefers but the problem is this fish will not reach us anytime soon because they're even v v rare to the japanese. Here's Chingchai's latest video of his tank. Amazing as always, but something is lacking in his tank, a show fish, a show fish higher standard than the gems, interruptus, pelicieri, earlei etc! And for that i can only think of one, that is the personatus angelfish. Here's another tank i quite like becos the declivis is clearly the centre of attraction, there's also a flavoguttatus anthias if u look closely.
  14. This one i dunno. I've seen the same pics on pieces kazu and my first impression is oh no this anthias has skin disease! In terms of blotched colours markings, no anthias can beat the deep and rare beauty the aurora anthias:
  15. Maybe it's the beautiful coradion chrysozonus also possible since both melanopus and chrysozonus are found in philippines and indo shipments.
  16. No preference. Both also can. But of course rusty flame will be a lot cheaper than the true shepardi from Guam. If i'm gonna spend big money on Guam fishes i rather spend it on the flavcoronatus butterfly from Guam.
  17. Awesome hybrids, look at those thin stripes barely reaching half the body showing the traits of rusty angels. They're flooding the states, UK, Japan and everywhere except for Singapore! So unfair i wan it so badly, when is it gg to reach us!
  18. Those left at RB even smaller and all juvi w no adult patterns as in the "gold" flakes
  19. The one tat was sold look like this and the rest of the four pieces look somewat similar.
  20. No, he cant. But maybe one day the supplier can catch. I think now they dun hav more, they may not even hav one sanguineus now. I mean if u're interested in the near future can let them know so they can bring in when it is available.
  21. Goldflake is 180, bandit dunno cos din ask, those who know maybe can help to answer.
  22. I do agree the female has an unsual orange although not orange or mango colour enough, but it's definitely not a hybrid and no hybrid blood. Cos rusty are quite distinctive from flame in terms of markings and patterns, so any hybridization should have some, even the slightest, variations in the stripes (by means of more fine thin stripes), which is absent in both fishes. The orange is prob a slight geographical variant and i'm sure not the whole batch of flames are this orange right. Some are more red some more orange, variations in individual fishes also maybe. Nevertheless u still got a rare fish, becos flames are v rare in philippines, though not as rare as in hawaii. Anyway why din u get the flavo anthias? Tot u may be interested in them? Also next week LCK Hawaii coming and my fish is coming, if u're interested in the fish also do let them know cos steven says he can bring in more.
