U should sell all your other fishes in your tank now and jux keep to the list above and if can maintain all alive it'll be an awesome tank w awesome fishes. Great list i like it, but mux know calloura is v hard to get, the rest are easily obtainable.

Any update at Sealife? Heard there's brazil shipment there is it true? Maybe got rare butterfly like prognathode brasiliensis.

I'm showing u the pics becos u keep telling me there're not many fishes u like anymore and keep thinking there are only those few fishes u know. Like flameback angel is the only angel u like which happens to be so cheap and becos of that u got so many of them! There are a lot of nicer angels around, u should give yourself room for more development. Even for myself there are still so many fishes that i like and have not kept before and still waiting to find one. This hobby is never ending!

Pic too big, mux resize. Yes i can see, but quality not v good because of the reflection from the sunlight. Next time draw the curtain and off all the ceiling lights and take pics and video of your tank, it'll be better.

The fishes from the abyss are always so bizarre and mystical. Anyway lunatus wrasse pair right, so nice:

Second one look so copperband. Excelsa photos are all nicer, the body is sharper and bands less parallel and consistent. Oh i forgot u slight OCD and cant stand disorganised or unbalanced patterns, that's why u like modestus more. I prefer imperfection.

They are v different if we filter out the correct photos from the net, or so called the assumed correct photos. Best is to keep one yourself to know. Anyway i give up when fishes look too similar, i'll jux lump them up as one group and treat them as the same fish.

Not true ba, some of the pics of modestus i googled the 3rd dorsal fin also highest. But some pics of modestus and excelsa seem to be the same, so i'm confused doubt the credibility of the web. Also judgin the difference jux base on the height of the 3rd dorsal fin does not sound convincing either. Too little info on the roa family, if now put up a roa jayakari it'll make things even worse. U and your small! U know u'll not get it, not to mention a small one!

Yes they're different fish, the injury is jux a coincidence. The ocellatus spot is so different in the two fishes. So the previous is indeed a modestus. But seriously both modestus and excelsa look so similar. Modestus is so much cheaper and obtainable from Japan, get a modestus instead.

Ok v likely the one below is also an excelsa. Cos if u look at the body closely they have the same recovering injury mark at the exact same spot (some missing scales and small dent) so it's actually the same fish as the above.

Here's the excelsa, which i think look really similar as the one(claimed modestus) lemon posted earlier, i cant tell the difference.

Yes excelsa is hawaii only. Ya i also seen this photo on their website and remember the website mentioned some excelsa thing. Anyway i cant tell between an excelsa from a modestus. Either way v nice fish but too bad need low temp.

I think the second one is a roa excelsa.

If u get a new one or manage to buy a second hand one let me know, next time i see u i bring along plier and mod for u.
