Griffis no demand becos of bandit. Griffis is like the ugly duckling of bandit. That why u also bought a bandit and not a griffis.

This is not a hybrid! This is the yet to be named rare deepwater triggerfish from christmas islands. That video is v old and when the fish first appearing, everybody tot it was a goldenback x crosshatch tat's why the title is still wrong. However it has now been confirmed it is a separate species on its own, awaiting proper ID. Only v few has appeared in the market becos as u can see, it's not a v attractive looking fish and some more it is a triggerfish, so not v popular. LA has one for sale now which has been stuck there for ages. jmaneyapanda of RC is keeping one if i'm not wrong. And reefbuilder has done a write up before here. -
Wa tat's v huge flame angel. They should be renamed holacanthus loriculus. V nice harlequin pair. Thanks Law for everytime providing such high quality pics, u should start to charge LCK advertisements fees. In order not to side track, Ah Beng has quite a few solorensis fairy wrasse, v nice yellow orange head.

Flavo killing each other is weird to me. My flavo do not kill each other, they do not even fight at all. They are like princess anthias, v docile and rather timid. They will die, becos although feeding does not look like they are feeding enough to me. Still thin and fragile looking constantly hovering in the water column. U sure yours died becos of killing each other? Cos i've seen your last one and it looks thin and weak also, symptoms of malnutrition.

Ya discouraging but that's the truth, from my own three times of experience with pictilis and so much info and other reefers' experience that i've read before. But the fish is so so beautiful and i doubt i'll be able to hold back if they ever come in again. Anyway fyi aussie pictilis is 130 each, whereas vanuatu pictilis is only 48. -

Wat anthias is this? pseudanthias hypselosoma? They are normally v ugly one. Nice enough for me. I want. The trio and the pair are from two reefers in RC and from wat i know all died liao, cant keep v long in captivity. Pictilis is extremely difficult to sustain in captivity. Almost all those keeping pictilis in RC have failed. Many in this forum like me and other reefers (cant remember their names) who have kept before all also failed on pictilis. So till now i've not hear any success. Only success is with public aquarium, like the one in the pic posted which reside in georgia aquarium. Their beauty is too hard to resist and u should try it if it is ever brought in again. RD and RB will not bring them again becos they are too difficult. So your only chance now is vanuatu pictilis, which i tried before and it is no better den australia one! So all the best. -
Cos it looks like it's emitting white light, like casper. U cant control flashing one, but keeping a busy and vibrant tank w lots of females wrasses or other smaller fishes will encourage them to flash as they want to exhibit their male ego! Seeing a fairy wrasse flashing is an exciting experience and not something easily achievable.

Though it's from jireh, but i think still worth to check it out. Price wise should be quite standard for aussie corals, same like RD and CF price lo, expensive. GO corals are not from aussie, so price cannot compare, theirs are from indo which is suppose to be cheaper but most of the time is as expensive as aussie shipment. Vanuatu will delay one. Last time also everytime delay, sometimes up to a month or more. No did not try the medication before, cos Terryz want to pass me but everytime i see him he din bring so till now din get to try.

Your hooded is not flashing. I've told u before when the fairy flashes it'll be as if the body is glowing and emitting white light. The hooded in the video is only opening it's fins to swim and the T5 lights is reflecting off it's body tat's all. Pls do not upgrade so fast! Further i dun think u can find anyone here in the forum selling a 3 by 3 tank unless lemon or terryz is selling anytime soon. The number of 3 by 3 tank keepers in this forum i can count w one hand! Chilli coral is not an easy coral, but it's v red and beautiful, worth a try. RB got a lot of high grade acan, scolymia and favia. But price i think will be a turn-off cos from aussie.

It looks like a shallow water butterflyfish and shallow water butterfly are usually found in big school. So it's weird tat this butterfly is only sighted once and only one was sighted. Better pic is defintely needed for ID. -

Could be sanctaehelenae butterfly, but that is not found in Japan either. -

Definitely an unpopular hogfish as it grows big and ugly. -

Sorry not the black and white but a pale white fish (it may be a ventralis anthias cos the video not v clear) appearing in this video below at 1:16 at the top right hand corner of the screen. Link: http://www.blueharbor.co.jp/factory/flaver2/flaver.swf?video=/factory/flaver2/0002.flv&time=01:22&title=&color=&full=true&list=1&seek=58 For the youtube video one is super easy cos not all rare fishes are appearing. The list if i'm not wrong: fuscipinnis anthias bodianus sanguineus ventralis anthias ventralis hawaiensis golden pgymy angel chalk basslet swissguard basslet aurora anthias golden hamlet debelius angel borbonius anthias guyanensis butterfly basabei butterfly kelloggi plectranthias naoko fairy wrasse personatus angel Spanish flag Semi snowflake clown common cleaner wrasse And those not appearing in the youtube but in the other video link i posted above: muticolor x coral beauty hybrid Serranus chionaraia an unknown pale white looking anthias i mentioned above. -

Not really, there's a black and white coloured fish inside koji's tank tat i'm not able to ID. -
For meaty coral u can go for red cynarina if u find prata too ex. I also like goniopora, they comes in many colours like red and purple. Also dun forget the chalice coral that comes in the most amazing colours and patterns. Well of course if u're willing to pay, there's also the insane coloured aussie acans. U cant jux have too many euphyllia corals, there are also other v unique corals that will add on a lot of life to your tank, like Duncans, softies and some NPS corals like sun corals, seafan, gorgonian etc. Here's Sunburst's tank w a v good mix of corals.
