  1. It has not been confirmed. I fall into the category of pple believing that the fish is jux a variant of gramma loreto and not a new species, unless they are able to catch more of these so called "gramma sprungi" to prove that it actually is a stable and thriving population like gramma dejongi.
  2. Pls see a doctor IMMEDIATELY! Do not take the sting from marine animals lightly. Even if the sting is not deadly but bear in mind everbody's immunity level is different and may react to the venom differently. Remember the famous "crocodile hunter" Steve Irwin who died from a stingray sting! Dun take this lightly!
  3. Ya i remember also, posted before, but cannot remember wat's the name. Somemore this thread so many pages too diffiicult to search.
  4. Deepwater goby and some deepwater un-ID fish from Japan. Who knows the name of the goby?
  5. Rare Plectranthias altipinnatus from japan. This is different from plectranthias inermis from indo.
  6. In this pic shows how small the fish is for those wondering wat fish it is:
  7. The whitecap goby is no longer etremely rare. It's not even rare now, jux semi-rare. The price has dropped worldwide. In US now the most expensive is USD250, some places selling below USD200. Japan wise it's even cheaper now, around USD150. It's a v small goby, and most will be surprised how small the goby is. Suitable only for nano tank unless u want the fish to go missing in the tank.
  8. Cirrhilabrus johnsoni New pic at RC again. Now they are selling at USD800 for a pair, cheap compared to Japan(600 to 900 USD each) Are we prepared to pay that price for a fairy wrasse if any LFS is willing to bring the the fish in?
  9. Long time ago redsea larvatus always can see one or two. Until early last year i still saw one at cant remember Ah Beng or pac marine (current pinnacle) den after it goes extinct in red sea shipment. Almost two years already, all the red sea shipments that came had nothing else except for purple tang, sohal tang, and golden butterfly! The red sea supplier are so spoilt that they became so lazy to catch and target other fishes apart from the three mentioned jux now.
  10. Hi, Selling my hawaii harlequin shrimp pair from LCK. Female 1.5", male 3/4". Feeding on blue linkia starfish healthily. Price: $160 Collection: Woodlands. U can pm me or sms me at 96951347. Borrowed pic from Law's pair: My pair is exactly the same except that the male is a bit smaller.
  11. Hooded is gorgeous, but has a bit of whitespots?
  12. Can u also confirm if the clowns are allardi or chrysogaster? Cos law posted earlier is chrysogaster..
  13. Chrysiptera flavipinnis, one of my favourite damsel. Common in it's habitat in australia but so rarely collected for the trade. OMG i love this dottyback, look at the tail and the ghastly white body is so unique! The first one is so gorgeous and came out of vanuatu before, i'll definitely want one if any show up at vanuatu shipment. Yap East PNG only and never collected. From Copps: Adult C. dimidiatus have an all yellow tail. Adult C. melanosoma have a tail ringed in yellow. Both have all grey backs. C. vanderloosi has just a grey head and the tail of the melanosoma with just the yellow edge.
  14. Nigropunctatus, this one super rare and is never collected for the trade before.
  15. Look like aberrant maroon and aberrant melanopus. Agree the platinum not bad looking but picasso is still nicer!
  16. Agree. Very nice rockscape. Princess v healthy looking and not scared at all despite under such strong lightings. Now U need some flavo anthias..
  17. Anyway Earth is the coral beauty in your tank a deepwater one from Vanuatu? Cos i got one deepwater one from vanuatu but the colour has slowly reverted back to the normal coral beauty.
  18. Congrats on the rare butterfly, Zanzibar..... Remember to update us on it's well-being, cos website listed it as one of the v hard to feed butterfly but not impossible to feed. So your first hand experience will be valuable to pple who want to keep this butterfly in future.
  19. Earth FOWLR looks brilliant. Well stocked and to be able to appreciate the dusky heraldi, he has v high-class and unique taste. Awesome tank and i'm so glad my conspic get to be a new resident of his tank.
  20. No, chromis are v hardy once they are stable. However they ship poorly, so many often came in unhealthy and so some losses are inevitable. Because of that pple thought blue chromis are fragile but they are not. Jux like the common green chromis will also die a lot when a whole batch comes, den those surviving ones are really hardy.
