Yes sagami. They are waiting in the same tank to be packed and taken away to chingchai. -
For these crytic fishes, most if not all cyanide caught. Philippines and indo divers are still using cyanide to catch their fishes. It cant be stopped, someone (cant remember the name) tried to teach them catching fishes without using chemicals but in the end they still revert to using chemicals, especially in catching the more cryptic fishes, becos it's cheap and effective. Most fishes can take the cyanide poisoning quite well and will survive, but multibars, venustus and golden are v sensitive and they normally wont survive the cyanide poisoning. They receive huge orders of fishes each time and to supply to the whole world enough and at a cheap price, they will continue to use cyanide. Cos the day when they stop using the price will sure increase as the supply wont be able to meet the demand. No one will want to see the price of the indo fishes increase to that of caribbean fishes.

LCK may still have. Can try calling before u go down. -
The most difficult lies in getting a healthy specimen, and it's really v v difficult cos all the multibars and venustus are cyanide caught. Which means they will all look v healthy at the LFS and only when u buy it back it'll slowly break down in one two weeks or sometimes months den suddenly die. U need a lot of luck! Like how u got a golden angel that survive.

Tat leucozonus in Irene's tank is bound to die. She is most of the time not in the shop and only feed the tank a few times a week, how is the anthias gg to survive there! Wasted a rare fish! The leucozonus at BH has a stronger colour than the one at Irene's tank. -

A series of baby fishes starting from the rare to the rarest to the rarest of the rare! Baby Africanus Angel Baby marcellae butterfly Baby bandit angel Baby personatus angel (one and only one piece in the whole world and it's currently residing in BlueHarbour Japan) -
My experience with paracentropyge: Multibar tried at least three times all failed! None feeding. Venustus tried at least six times and all failed! One or two feeding but still die. Reasons of death for all of them are most probably cyanide poisoning. Becos these are v crytic angelfishes and they are caught using cyanide.

From ReefBuilder, Anampses lennardi is the rarest of the anampses family currently. It hails from Western Australia where fishes are rarely collected becos the supplier there are so pampered with their corals supply that they have grown too lazy to swim and chase after fishes. Lennardi wrasse being an anampese is difficult in care and probably as tough as feminus can be. In this video there are many beautiful lennardi and ends off with many corals eye candies: -

It looks v nice when it jux arrive, the shocked colour is v intense and brighter than a kashiwae. U may be right when it calms down the colour will not be as intense and will be more kashiwae lookalike. If din remember wrongly RB also brought once in their indo shipment with a lot of other bimaculatus anthias. Our SPS will hav the black gumdrop inside? And pple will throw away. Thought it is rare, cos it looks like a rare fish to me. -

As i'm posting, some of these fishes are available at the LFS. 1) Wat is this? Black Gumdrop? 2) Beautiful Male Sunset Anthias (CF currently still have many! If u wan act fast) 3) Mitratus Butterfly (CF has two but sold out) 4) Semeion Butterfly Juvenile (CF has one piece now at the tanks at the back) 5) Plectranthias Pelicieri (Super rare hawkfish. Costs about 2k. Hope one day RB or CF can bring in!) 6) Pseudanthias Sp. from Bali (This beautiful anthias is a kashiwae anthias lookalike, it has appeared a few times at Irene's Bali shipment. Keep a lookout) 7) Joculator Angelfish (CF now has two pieces left. Those who wan be quick, else it'll be another long wait. Only CF is bringing in this fish now!) 8) Canary Damselfish (Deepwater Cook island fish. Cheap and beautiful but as usual cannot get here becos no cook island shipment after Henry stop bringing in) 9) Ventralis anthias hawaii (Obtainable but mux wait. Expensive at 250 to 350 per fish. LCK and CF brought in before but most of them died) -

I think they look a bit scary to me. Slimy and bug-like! The tank below makes me wish to go back to FOWLR tank. But maybe i'm biased but i like the conspic the most in the tank. The clarion and true personifer are ugly, the emperor looks a bit deformed, the blueline and bandit do not shine. -
Wa this thread is resurrected! Who will not like P.boylei, however collection is v difficult and dangerous. There was a collection talked about earlier this year after an european reefer ordered two, but until now the collection is still in the planning, that's how difficult it is. To dive down to 400ft, to be able to bring the delicate fish back to the surface alive, to be able to find enough buyers to justify the costs of the trip etc are some of the major worries. Furthermore the reefer who ordered the P.Boylei has just suffered a massive loss of fishes in his main tank due to disease outbreak. He lost two clarions, goldflakes, black tangs, bluelines and many many others. So not sure if he'll still be as keen on his order as before. P.Boylei is a 15k fish, v expensive but not the most expensive for an angelfish. Difficult to keep alive, need a dedicated setup and low temp of 20 degree and below. Not a fish tat i would try in our tropical climate even if i hav the money. So it's better off admiring the pics on the net. We are only able to get it's cheaper cousin, the multibar angelfish. P.Boylei we can only dream.

This is the stressed colour and is not real. When it calms down it'll be like this below, a submale colouration. Like lineatus can be quite disappointing.
