  1. Hotumatua is HOT! The common name of tomato angel is v fitting! If it ever becomes available again, believe LCK should be able to bring in the fish. LCK can get almost any rare angelfishes tat has appeared thus far, from clarion to clipperton(would have reached us if not for the confiscation of the fish) to true personifer to the deepwater personatus angel!
  2. Sigh, hotumatua was supposed to be collected again mid of this year, but the trip did not come to fruition! The japanese i read before did try to keep hotumatua in a SPS tank of 25 to 26 and the fish did well. So optimal may be 22 but it can probably adapt a little higher. The americans are always very critical about temp, so they always tend to exaggerate the temp requirement of the fish.
  3. Wa these four?! I will jux keep dreaming. The most obtainable one in the list is probably P.Pelicieri, but even if it's available, it'll be upwards of 3K price tag and i'll hav to think v v hard whether to get it! Mauritius biotope, u need to add in gem tang to the list above! And maybe also mauritius coral beauty!
  4. CF auntie gg china to pray! So lemon, look out for CF auntie when u visit temples!
  5. I hav a competition for opercularis liao! It's a hogfish tat i like a lot and if i go Japan next time it'll be on my hunting list!
  6. The one i got from CF which is also red white variant is v easy leh, it has been doing well in my tank for quite long already. Sepiacaudus is quite aggressive and will deprive u of keeping a lot of other hogfish or wrasses.
  7. For u soon again! Hope u will return from your holiday with a rare fish not found in singapore!
  8. Ya i've bewn waiting for white terelabrus from maldive for ages! And i believe this is the first time maldive terelabrus came to singapore! That's why i die die also hav to catch out the only one left in the SPS display jux now! Ya the dracula are damn cheap, and so many left, saw about two white red ones left. The rest are smaller and blacker.
  9. No la i think most likely all the same. Cos the maid din say they are different in colours.
  10. lineopunctatus X angulatus i remember u posted a pic somewhere before and it's really a v nice hybrid, nicer than the two parent species!
  11. I love the desalwi. But too bad i cant keep SPS, unless i find one tat dun need lights! Wa a paper on identifying filament x yellow fin! I'm one of them who care about these hybrids, this kind of subtle hybrid is better left to a fairy wrasse geek like u
  12. Thanks for the ups pple. The fish is sold and collected. Buyer likes the fish a lot and keep a 5ft tank with many bigger fishes. Hope he'll enjoy the fish. Thank you and thread closed.
  13. I'm selling half price so that more pple will be interested. Most important buyer mux be able to appreciate the beauty of this rare fish and provide it with a suitable home, and i dun mind making a loss!
  14. Some beautiful and rare fishes i'm still waiting for! Flavicauda Anthias from Vanuatu Nahackyi Fairy Pair from Fiji Sailfin Anthias from Cebu and Vanuatu
  15. The rare and beautiful aurora anthias from Palau! Pseudanthias Calloura Males and females shown. Last pic is two hawaiiensis ventralis and aurora anthias. This one of the anthias that many found it hard to ID in lemon's pic of the ID game.
  16. Beautiful and v rare hybrid butterfly. Most likely quadrimaculatus x tinkeri.
  17. Liopropoma Carmabi has a rarer deep red form and a more common yellow form. The super rare Bodianus Sanguineus also has a rarer deep red form and a more common yellow form!
  18. A Liveaquaria display tank of the rarest anampses in the market now! Anampses Lennardi! (We can hope one day to see this in LCK west australia shipment perhaps)
  19. Ya the female got chased around quite badly but did not suffer any injuries. The cyanotaenia fins were torn. Whitecap goby still in a state of bad shock. However i really like the fish quite a lot, it has v nice colours and v unique purple face! Never mind if no one buy i'll pass it to fuel to keep. Next time if i ever get a pico tank i'll keep it again.
  20. Hi all, Item: Pictichromis Diadema (Unusual color variant) Description: This diadema dottyback has an unusual amount of purple extending all the way to the lower jaw. Colour variantion of diadema dottyback is v rare. This fish is bought from CF at $60 and the size is slightly over 2 inches. Reason for selling: V aggressive, which is typical of a dottyback and create havoc in my nano tank with many nano fishes. This fish is more suitable to be kept with fishes bigger than itself. It'll do well in a FOWLR tank also. Selling Price: $30 (half my bought price!) Hope to hav interested buyer to take in this rare dottyback. It's v beautiful and i'm selling it reluctantly due to its aggression towards my smaller fishes. Any enquiries pls pm me or sms me at 96951347 Below are some pics taken by fuel:
