  1. The pintail is nice as always. One day i really hope to see it in our cebu shipments! In the pic also can see the v rare guyanensis butterfly. The last lemonpeel hybrid is gorgeous. Amazing Katoi. But the surrounding water looks cold. Japan fishes are all challenging cos they comes from cooler water.
  2. Tinker hybrid, guyanensis and muelleri in QT. Belongs to Copps.
  3. Wat if it is a normal koran? Donate to the Iwarna pond?
  4. My fishes also dislike mysis soaked with prazi. But if u are curing flukes den no need to soak prazi, it should be administered externally, that is dose in the water. Do not add anymore tangs for the time being, at least 3 months. Let the ich number drop to a more manageable level so that it can be brought under control.
  5. It's a hybrid!!! Well i'm 80% sure it's a hybrid. But the emperor traits may be too minimal to show in adulthood and even it's a hybrid look totally koran. There's no adult pic of koran x emperor on the net. So only time will tell wat the fish will turn into.
  6. No need to test further. Your parameters are ok. You do water change and you dun overstock. So how bad can your parameters go? You should try to identify other problems. For example is there any toxic metal in your tank tat comes from rusting metallic equipments or other failing equipments? Is there any new addition of fishes recently tat has brought about an outbreak of disease? Is there any recent massive changes made to the tank tat might hav stressed your fishes? P.S. I highlight one of the statement in bold becos that is usually the cause of the problem. A lot of reefers when they buy and add new fishes too fast, a few days later the new fish or even older fishes in the tank will start dying.
  7. When ick is visible as whitespots on the body it's harmless. When it is microscopic in free swimming form it is highly infectious and is searching for a new host..... Lastly when it is hidden embedded in the gills of the fish it's the most deadly which is the cause of death as it impairs the gills of the fish. When there's an ick outbreak, the fishes which have high activity level like butterfly, angels and tangs are the first few to go becos they swim a lot and breathe a lot, constantly flushing the ick infected water thru their gills so they are the first to be infected. However the fishes should exhibit heavy breathing for a few hours before dying. It's my own postulation and u may disagree on that and feel that it is something else tat hav killed your fishes. But watever it is, pls do something to save your last tang becos watever tat killed the three tangs is not gg to spare your sohal.
  8. Not v impressive looking but it may be becos tat piece in the photo looks unhealthy. It has a wide range but is a rarely collected fish. The piece in the photo was caught in hawaii and send to Japan. Again japan, anything rare goes to them first! Here are two hogfish rarer den bodianus sanguineus: Bodianus Opercularis (Mauritius) Bodianus Masudai (Japan)
  9. So nice right. They are all the same size some more. I think i know why your marginalis died. I'll tell u in pm.
  10. Tinker hybrid in CCampbells QT. Also a nice pair of goldflakes.
  11. The WOW factor lies in it's rarity and not it's beauty! It's is probably now the rarest dwarf hybrid around with one and only one piece ever appeared for the trade. The second rarest will be potter x fisheri which has recently found another specimen. Right after is the venustus x multibar which has seen a handful.
  12. My clowns (sorry for the blur pics). FYI they are not naked-clown and clarki!
  13. Needless to say this is one of the most beautiful fish. But such a heartbreaker, this will be the last time i'm trying ventralis!
  14. I think A.Randalli is found in western australia too, though i'm not v sure. Next time i'll go CF check the book again.
  15. Haha u should fear instead it'll be another fish tat cannot be obtained in the hobby.
  16. And it's v beautiful and unique looking, kick the naoko one side and welcome the new stubby fairy! Rare fairy wrasse collectors like Huskereef mux be screaming: I want that fish!! Indonesia has a lot to offer for the hobby. Somebody needs to open a collection centre at those sites where there are no collection currently. These fishes can sell for high price and bring wealth to the locals!
  17. New species of fairy wrasse, "Stubby" Fairy wrasse, found in east indonesia. More info on reefbuilder.
