  1. Thank u. I'm in the midst of acquiring a few more v rare fishes. Will update if i'm able to obtain them. U can get from RD. I also feed dainichi baby pellets and i think it is good cos got cyclopeeze inside.
  2. Both CF and LCK have black tang now. One each. But both are v big.
  3. Wat tang? The aberrant bristletooth at CF? If it is i dun like, i prefer tricolor zebrasoma but i'm not intending to keep a tang, if i am i'll probably get gem tang again cos it's easy and beautiful. I agree. First look is so colourful and nice, but closer look they are jux cheap and normal corals, nothing too special. But tat's my objective, cos i dun wan to keep difficult or expensive corals which they'll take up a lot of my time or will turn out to be food to my fishes. The corals are there to make the tank more colourful so tat my fishes feel more at home and will stand out more
  4. It's healthy, and still v green. I'm used to soft corals closing for a few days so i'm not worried. But mine is too small to spawn la.
  5. Yes it has grown a lot a lot! It has coloured up nicely too especially the blue on the tail. But it does not qualify as a superstar fish in my tank somehow cos half the time i'm looking at my tank i'm not looking at the johnsoni but instead at my other fishes like tapeinosoma and rosae etc. I need something more showy, more elegant, majestic and more attention seeking! I'm still waiting for such a fish to show up.
  6. Wow! I hope the green nepthea u gave me will spawn also, but these few days it has decided to close and not opening..
  7. Is it? Tat means i missed it. The body shape is bicolor. But the head is v joculator. But watever it is, it is ugly la, but v special.
  8. Thank u for your advice. Yes it has dropped some "babies" before but normally they get blown off to the sandbed immediately and no chance to land on any corals. But now it's tentacles have expanded so long tat it's stinging the favia, chalice and candycane beside it. I feel like using a pair of scissors to trim the long tentacles like how we trim SPS and is wondering whether tat is possible??
  9. This fish intrigues me a lot!! Is it a bicolor or joculator aberrant? It could even be a hybrid between bicolor and joculator? It has the head and eye of a joculator but it has a body shape of a bicolor. Also the little black stain at the forehead suggests a bicolor but the eye mascara is showing a joculator! Amazing fish.
  10. Rusty flames are gorgeous! They can be variable. The first one is more flame while the second is more rusty. Personally i prefer the more flame ones.
  11. Thank u. My focus is still on fishes, i'm a v fish person, corals are secondary to me. I've a v rare fish coming next week, i'll update again soon
  12. Hi, i dun feed my corals specifically, they are simple LPS and can jux do well from lights alone. However they may get extra nutrition when i feed my fishes. Cos i feed my fishes with mysis soak in selcon. And selcon is known to benefit corals. Other den selcon i dun use any other supplements.
  13. The mushroom has grown fluffier and has became the helfrichi favourite hang out area: The candycane was stung by the true octo and injured, i took out cut off the dead heads and shifted it to the back. And the slot was replaced with one of my favourite coral, the duncan! Bought from CF, quite brown but according to lemon it can colour up and hopefully turn greener. One of my favourite buy from Iwarna tonga corals shipment is the red lobo. It grew fluffier, but the colour seems to change to more pinkish den the red last time. Hope it's not sign of bleaching.
  14. Picture taken today compared to past photo shows that corals have grown in size. In fact the true octo has grown too big tat it became a nuisance stinging all the other corals beside it. Now: Before:
  15. Updates on the tank, Both ventralis anthias finally died yesterday. They are too difficult for me, feeding v well but still get skinnier and died. Will never try ventralis again. Sadly my CB latz clown also died yesterday, it went MIA. But it's already showing heavy breathing and torn fins, maybe high temp (26 degree) or may even be brooks tat caused its death. No problem feeding, the latz is eating pellets healthily and doing well for many weeks but since last three days it began to show torn fins and colour loss (some sliming which looks like brooks but too minor so i cant be sure) and heavy breathing and died yesterday. There are four more pieces at CF but i'm not trying anymore, CB clowns do not seem to do v well for me, they are too vulnerable to disease. Also the curiosus wormfish died many days ago which is expected cos it does not feed at all. Other fishes are doing v well.
  16. U r so blinded by the hooded wrasse tat u did not see a 2" fiji foxface and also the two blackcap basslets! It's a good buy knowing how much CF sell the giant one! I'll remember to help u pay Hua-Jie the next time i go LCK again.
  17. V nice. I like the scaping, chalice, doughnuts, cynaria then descending to zoas and plates... Lots of swimming spaces for fishes but a pity there is no fishes.
  18. Hotumatua will arrive. It will if collection ever start again and places like LCK and CF will get offer and when it comes to angelfishes, they are v willing to bring it in. Chrysogaster is v obtainable, dun even qualify to be in a "wish" list. In fact now they hav stocks, at least 5 pieces. PM M3morph if u wan to get them now. The only unobtainable is B.Opercularis! I love the fish a lot and knowing it's so unobtainable, i'm satisfied with my cheap substitute, the terelabrus sp. from maldives. The true opercularis is extremely hard to get, the handful ever made it to Japan was from palau, mauritius and japan itself. That makes it unobtainable cos we are the last on the list when it comes to mauritius supply! Even flying to Japan also cannot get the fish cos they are not having enough for themselves! However there is a nicer variant of B.sepiacaudus which is quite close to the color of the true opercularis and it comes out from Marshall islands. I call it the fake opercularis and it is more obtainable and has came in before thru Iwarna hawaii shipment. Hope it'll come in again and u may like the fish. So cute! Like a little mouse. U need to thank me, i played a part in spotting the fish
  19. Odontanthias chrysostictus, a v deepwater and rare anthias in the same genus as borbonius.
  20. Nice flame angel. Aberrant flames like this are super rare, but has occurred a few times but all usually go to Japan where they pay thousands for. So unlikely it'll appear here where we are only willing to pay hundreds for this.
