try live brine shrimp and make sure there is no one to compete with him for food... btw u need a mature tand with lots of pods for a mandrin...

i think u maybe if u dun wish to remove that angel u can try feeding it more often and see if that helps...

hmm u can but u will need a longer time to gain let the good bacterical to colonise the rock but good side is that u will drive all the hitchhiker out... my suggestion is u try add a small amount of hyposaline water then left the rock out on air it will casue then to escappe from the rock.. it is very hard to totally remove all

okok ... hmm what u say is very true.. just to point out that some find FW dip usefull so say its crap... but for a 300 litres tank do u think that a 3x ( coralife uv ) is sufficent ?

but in order for it to work we should have scienfic evidence to back it up... from what i have read it is rather useless due to the lack of time of uv light to act and the intensity of the uv. but like u have said maybe the ones that src reefers using are high end products of better technology
