  1. The black sea cuke is much less toxic than the other kinds of sea cukes (we eat it in our chinese soup or vegetable dishes at wedding dinners!). The black donkey dung cukes are also proven sand sifters... not 'useless' filter feeders.
  2. Don't underestimate how fast bacteria grows. They have been here since the start of creation and will probably be the last creatures standing come a nuclear holocaust and the end of the world!
  3. Sob! Sob! My goodwill wishes and concern are unappreciated! I was going to call a 'Donate your Magfloat Magnets to save Flubberina' campaign. My efforts are all for nought!
  4. No more driving around in just your underwear! Seriously, does anyone know how much crash protection a plastic car offers?
  5. Why is there a need to censor yourself? My policy is simple: there is no need to fear any lashback from establishments if you are not criticising them. Those who wish to share their thoughts openly can openly name them provided that you list down your name and contact, those who don't please censor yourselves or use vague descriptions. In this case, there is no need!
  6. She looks amazingly like one of the lounge singers in Battlestar Galactica when they were on this casino planet.
  7. Cool... by some animal activists?
  8. All I know is I can't afford a plasma TV or an LCD TV. The diff? I think a plasma TV radiates more heat, yes? I don't even utilize my Sony Wega TV now as much now that my attention is mostly glued on my PC monitor and my 'plasma TV' with living things inside..
  9. All hail Abu Acropora There's no secret here.... high wattage intense lighting with a shallow tank and his acros have no choice but to grow quickly and colour up with anti-uv pigments! Great progress Robe! You're my inspiration!
  10. Good stuff. But you can't recharge it. It's an absorbent. Once 'full', throw away.
  11. A lot of people who don't surf the internet will not know this. A little knowledge goes a long way.
  12. Rumor, feeling board - go to this website and knock yourself out! Movie Mistakes!
  13. Man.... I thought it was a joke... not a finger nail???! A real steel nail??? What do you have? A rubber hose for an oesophagus?? Surely you must have felt pain should you have swallowed a nail going down your throat?
  14. Limbo Ave - Neo's in a place of limbo.
  15. IMO, whatever amount you paid for that product... ahem... its a waste of money. You are better off buying a bottle of real live phytoplankton instead of a bottle of almost 90% water and 10% something of questionable value for your corals. Do a search here in SRC or in Reef Central....
  16. I suggest using a magnet to try easing it out of the intestinal tract... if it hurts too much coming out the other way... then you can try the other way thru, pass the oesophagus.
  17. Ceramic rings and other forms of bio-media is for bacteria colonisation, mainly aerobic nitrifying types. These are good only for ammonia and nitrites. To culture denitrifying bacteria, you have to provide anaerobic conditions, which a properly setup DSB, or lots of LR with dense cores, can provide naturally.
  18. I have no problems dissolving Coralife salt either. IMO, you have to try your luck... get a batch that is old and exposed to air... and you'll have problems with hard-to-dissolve salt, regardless of brand.
  19. There is no guarantee that clownfishs will bond with an anemone in a tank. Do try to provide ideal conditions for anemones.
  20. Incomplete? We just explained that your cycling is over. Nitrates is always the end result. You just need to find a way to remove nitrates, mechanically or naturally.
  21. I think its a mistake that's gonna cost Henry more money. That few hundred dollars will save him much more in the long term. There are many ######/PC bundled solutions that he can consider. Some people used these to record their maids daytime activities after so many reports of child abuse/'maid bring home strange men' cases in Singapore. In fact, he can hide the ###### almost everywhere in his shop! Just one at the main door so he can recognise all the visitors coming in.... one watching the drygoods, one watching the expensive livestock and a few scattered around just so that almost every angle of the shop is captured. My 2 cents... I'll give him a buzz about this.
