  1. Yes Bro, Aware of that

What i did, i cut off the Dymax Sticker covering the chamber on the left of the tank, i am directing the stock light through the clear Arcylic( after the sticker is removed). I am directing the light for about 12 hours daily, is that sufficient?

Once i fix my PAR30 for my Tank, my stock light will solely be fixed at the left of the chamber to provide light for the chaeto

let me know if i should do anything else to this

    Thanks

Excellent idea. But I do wonder if the stock light has enough PAR at all. Are there any specs on the output?

  2. Researchers have identified the first fish known to have switched from ultraviolet vision to violet vision, or the ability to see blue light. The discovery is also the first example of an animal deleting a molecule to change its visual spectrum. The findings on scabbardfish link molecular evolution to functional changes and the possible environmental factors driving them.

  3. Whether your plants even require any or little dosing is entirely up to you. There are plenty of setups of slow growing ferns and mosses that are perfectly balanced and grow at a rapid pace on their own. For the majority of planted tanks however, a little addition of carbon dioxide will go a long way towards making your plants grow more lush and beautiful.

And now Ireland is well on the way to becoming a player in this worldwide multi-billion euro industry, according to recently presented research results.

  5. A positive effect of climate change that is helping to support a £30m industry has been uncovered by new research. Ocean warming in UK waters is increasing stocks of the great scallop Pecten maximus, according to a study published in the journal Marine Biology. However the researchers have warned that further rises in water temperatures could have the opposite effect on scallops and better management of these fisheries is needed to protect sensitive seabed habitats.

  6. The consumption of fish has no major role in the prevention of heart failure, according to results from a large prospective population study. The study, which was started in 1990 and involved all men and women over the age of 55 living in a suburb of Rotterdam, found no difference in the risk of developing heart failure between those who did eat fish and those who didn't.
