The extremely shy shrimp goby. I was lucky to get off this shot coz the fella was under an overhang and any approach means it'll hide in his little tunnel in the blink of an eye.

This fish came out of the dark cave and gave me a fright. Amazingly red but almost undetectable underwater without the flash!

The extremely shy and elusive Purple Firefish! This dive was bad because I saw the most things but my camera jammed up or my trigger button came loose underwater. I saw the Red Firefish too.... but no shot.

Without women, there will be not enough money generated. Remember... women's spending makes the world goes around... I wish I was started out in the cosmetics industry or the underwear/lingerie... they sure know how to fleece women... their undies sure COST A BOMB for such flimsy fabric (not complaining about this though. hehe). Cosmetics like lipsticks only cost a few cents to manufacture but they sell for a LARGE margin more!

Go for it. Whatever lightings we have can never match the sun anyway. Robe has 1050watts of lighting in a very shallow tank and I think he has LPS in there too.

Here's mine... Rumour-mongers. Especially the one who maliciously started it and the ones who pass it on without even verifying facts.

That's natural. Probably some hydrogen sulfide produced as a result of denitrification. Harmless levels. Just don't dig up your sandbed!

Coral Sand for Marine/ Reef tank setup
Achilles Tang replied to lyz77's topic in New to the Marine Aquaria Hobby
Nitrates is produced as a result of biological processes. Coral sand does not contain nitrates to the least bit. It is not an absorbent for nitrates. Is your tapwater nitrates-free? -
I know what that means... do you get peeved by people doing it?? How observant are you??

Parking lots along Mohd Sultan all gone....
Achilles Tang replied to belle's topic in General Reefkeeping_
I never like to park my car outside Mohd Sultan Rd... too many drunks. Plus potential scratches from careless people... a big no no! I usually park at Robertson Walk anyway.... much safer! -
