  1. Call Ah Boy... 90055230. He's the King of Fishing... he does Kelong Fishing at Pulau Sibu. Its nearby at Tanjong Leman.
  2. I don't know what is your question... canister or calcium reactor?
  3. IMO, big boulder types are recommended for base rocks and to provide better denitrification effects compared to those tonga branch types or thin flat rocks. AT
  4. "I.... will.... give........ up...... my..... corals.............." NNNooooOOOOOooooooOOOOOO!!!! It's a trick! Don't LOOK at that picture!!!!! It'll hypnotize you!!!!
  5. I hope he will have a security cam pointed at it by the time it gets up.
  6. Dendronephthya species or cauliflower corals are corals not recommended to be kept even by advanced reefers as the conditions they survive long term in is extremely hard to maintain as it would mean a species-only tank which has to provide: 1. Good quality water. 2. CONSTANT and REGULAR feedings of LARGE QUANTITIES of live phytoplankton & small zooplankton. 3. Good water circulation to keep them lifted up. These are one of the most beautiful corals seen underwater but unfortunately something best appreciated only while scuba diving or watching documentaries. In a captive reef tank mixed with other corals, the amount of food being introduced to keep them alive would crash the tank. Unless you have access to NSW everyday and can pump them in and out of your tank, it's a hopeless quest. AT
  7. It's cool to integrate fishtanks into your interior decor. I'm glad they are not building those slimline ala plasma TV type of hangon to the wall fishtanks... those are very very hard to maintain and don't provide a good environment for marine livestock, IMO. Maybe one of these days, I'll pop by and take a look!
  8. Acanthus, that is bad advice. You should NOT disturb a DSB or it'll never perform its denitrification work. These anoxic areas/anaerobic areas is where denitrifying bacteria thrives... causing these areas to get oxygen means you'll them them off. Hydrogen sulfide is normal and will eventually find a way to dissipate out on its own by diffusion. No harm will come to your reef inhabitants as such. If you disturb the deep sand bed and release hydrogen sulfide all at once, then its your own look out.
  9. It's a very small CO2 canister. 2kg?? I have no idea.... I used it for my freshwater planted tank last time.
  10. New reef grading project?? WHO TOLD YOU ABOUT MY TOP SECRET 10000 GALLONS REEF TANK PROJECT???!! Seriously, no. I wish.
  11. Errrr.... are you sure that's the correct interpretation??! lots of women use make up these days cuz they feel they NEED to, not cuz they really WANT to. personally if the girl needs make up to feel confident and look pretty then hey she ain't attractive to me. Well... I think Shu Qi said it right: "All a women needs is character and make-up to be beautiful". Not every women is born with perfect face structure and skin to go without makeup. A little enhancement is thus needed. If I had to face some women without makeup... I was saw my colleague quite chio with makeup... once she was without... I almost screamed... pale face, white lips, old looking, brrrrr.... I think a girl with just a bit of makeup, and looks good without having to overdo is best. But still a pretty face is just that... without character, a woman is just a.... pretty face. I see plenty of that in my industry. Brainless Bimbos are not my type of girls. Like my wife... she's not pretty but she has lots of character! I won't get bored growing old with her!
  12. LOL!! Ala Deuce Bigalow: I'll like some sea snails from the bottom of the tank!
  13. They need to be submerged preferably in areas of good water circulation to enable more water flow through them.
  14. Ok ok...lets not wander too far off the beaten track...
  15. Arrgh... just barely got near the centre but couldn't stay for the 'eye of the tornado' shot coz the current was too strong...
  16. Attempting to distance myself so as to capture the 'tornado'..... look at the huge number of barracudas!
  17. Inside the 'tornado'... you will find giant-sized tangs about half a metre long!
  18. And then out of the blue came... Sipadan's main attraction... the resident tornado of giant barracudas!
  19. I could just reach out and touch them! Amazing when they surround you without fear! The school was so big that they blocked out the light!
  20. It's trevallies or jacks as they call them! Where's my fishing rod... err... spear gun.. er... net?
