You got to be kidding.... the cost of living is a LOT higher than our region! Cheap is NOT something associated with Tokyo! Just try buying a bowl of ramen.... Which hotel are you staying in? The last time I was there... I couldn't find any LFS.... I believe they are all in the suburbs!

Sad.... the area needs tons of AZ-NO3 or rows of giant skimmers to help get rid of the nitrates!! But its still so sad...

I think this process is even faster in westernised countries. Kids are a lot more mature over there and by 18 you are considered an independent adult and more often than not, you'll have to go out there and make your own life. IMO, young Singaporeans are too sheltered for their own good.

Was driving at Lentor Ave on Sunday towards Yishun. Saw a black police van on the side of the road with the rear door open facing incoming traffic. Two policemen were manning a 'video' camera of some sort? It was quite big....

Hmmm, IMO, there shouldn't be that many tangs in the average 5ft tank. Just because Wei Leong has squeezed in that many tangs into one tank doesn't mean that if he can do it, everyone else can. I believe he is going to let go of some because of aggression issues. I don't think you'll like to see all your money disappear because of ick outbreak due to stress amongst your tangs right? Remember that your marine tank is supposed to be an oasis for your fishes.... not a torture chamber.

Well, my younger niece, apparently has the energy and cuteness resembling that little girl, Boo, in Monsters Inc! She's so fast that my sis can't catch her at times!
