  4. Hi Ken, don't mention at all We are all here to try learn something from this forum. When I got my tank I was like you thinking that I didn't get the crystal as agreed with the tank maker, after some explanation from the tank maker then I learnt that there are different grade of crystal glass. Also I was told that the green tint is caused by some amount of iron which were added during the glass manufacturing process to made the glass tougher. But I have yet to understand for those high grade crystal glass that has lesser green tint does it mean that it is less tough / hard ? that I have yet to get an answer...perhaps some kind bros could provide some answer to help me understand

  5. Only the Zoa tank is without chiller. The main display tank (with the SPS) is chilled. Running it at ~ 27degC. Thanks. Well, the usual sea cucumber we see in LFS are the whole black, Tiger Tail or black/pink types. 1st time coming across this one (Thanks Simon ) . Did more reading up on this species. - This breed supposedly does not expel its cuvierian tubules (the toxic thing expelled when threatened), unlike the black ones (Holothuria leucospilota) which are more common locally - Feeds on detritus both day & night. - Prefers hard surfaces. Does not burrow. - Shits a lot though. There was about 1 tablespoon worth of shit in the plastic bag when i brought it home Sea cucumbers generally work so slowly but they are a nice addition to any tank.

  9. I take back my words that load rating is low. In fact it is higher than HDB rating of 1.5kN/m2. The load rating is actually for the whole area. So if your balcony is 5m2, then you can place up to 15kN distributed evening around your balcony.
