  7. best to leave you refugium free of livestock in the beginning, let your macro algae grow well first, troublesome to spend time monitoring livestock for dt and refugium at the same time too. a pair of clownfish is a good start.. easiest fish to start with. Clean up crew, u can try sand star (they shift around the sand bed, helps to keep sand bed sparkling) and nassarius snails (finishes up any food that lands on your sand bed) for your sand army, algae on rocks you can try turbo snails, tux urchin (they eat coraline algae too but to me, they are the best), seahare works best for hair algae (but not recommended very very new set ups as they are quite sensitive) All these u can get easily at ah beng

  10. Sure, here's what I'm doing; so right, once the water level drops below the shorter tube, air rushes in & displaces the exact volume of water out into the tank, keeping the level constant.
