  2. 18/09/14 - random reef thoughts After much procrastination, I decided to create a post for my 2*1*1 Red Yellow Blues (?) tank. Why is it RYB? cos ultimately I would like to keep a Flame angel, a lemonpeel angel and two blue tangs. Don't get me wrong, I do love corals, they are interesting to watch and to take care of. But there is nothing more fascinating than watching a bunch of colourful fish swimming in and out and out and in around the tank. Oh, and not to mention the joy of feeding them buffets. dog will always say to itself: this human being is so nice to me, he must be my master. whereas in the case of fish, the fish might just say: this human is so nice to me, I must be his master. anyway, that's all for now. Cheers and as always, happy reefing. (how it started: ) FTV@18/09/14 http://youtu.be/n5xf47-RxYw

  5. One method I use is to have the destination tank water dripped in during the acclimatization process. Normally, I have a small container of water set at a higher level with an air hose siphoning water into the container with the new fish. Drip rate controlled by one of those plastic air adjustment gadgets. This process typically takes 2 or more hours.

  6. Hijack a bit. From my experience, so far Iwarna is very honest and up front. When started reeding 2 years a go, i wanted to buy a brain coral. I didn't know which is a good specimen or a bad one. So, I picked a not so good one. When paying, the uncle (Philip) told me to get another one as the one I didn't look healthy. Another instance, I wanted to buy snowflake clown from FuEl. He asked my tank size first and if I had existing ones. When I told him yes, he advised that I should not buy because the existing one will kill the new additions as the tank is not big enough. Another instance, when getting quote to build a new tank from Victor. He listed very detail list and every single items required and the price. This is to be up front on the cost and prevent hidden cost. It is too often business will make you think that it is cheap initially but then come with hidden costs. But this is not the way Iwarna runs their business. Being a customer, I really commend Iwarna for being honest and up front despite they run business and need sales. It is the way to do business and gain trust and loyalty from customer. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk HD
