  2. Was walking past when I saw this: Am I the only one who sees something wrong with this? I know its the 7th month but that doesn't give one the right to litter. Its no wonder why our society will never move forward because our people can't even follow a simple task as to not litter. Very embrassing indeed.

  4. Pple like to upgrade LEDs. For flame angels. I believe because most reefers wanna try and pray it doesn't nip on corals. But too bad. I've tried 4. All nip on corals and my clams. Yellow and purple tang are aggressive.

  5. Lastly, my led light layout. And also the messy cabling done by me. Test drive the lighting just now. I would say it really bring out the color of the fishes and coral. But I am still trying to look for a stand for this led. Once I have get it up, will update you guys again.

  6. Just took a pic. The 2 white indents are the cracks formed after frequent usage. Here's a tip. Cut off the tip of the old baster and slot the new one over it to extend the length. I can now siphon the base of my tank without getting my hands wet. ( the tip turned purple as I leave the baster in my ios but no ill effects observed.)

  7. Shade cloth: All new scrubbers which use white growth surfaces should have a black cloth placed over the LEDs for the first week or two. Because the all-white interior reflects so much light, when it is new the light levels are way above the highest amount that can grow anything. Once growth starts, the white surfaces get covered with growth and the total light levels drop, and the cloth can be removed. Any cloth, stocking, or t-shirt can work; just don't melt the cloth with hot LEDs This covering of the lights can be done by anyone, on any scrubber, even waterfalls. Waterfalls use plastic canvas which has more holes than material, and they are not in white compartments, so the light levels when new are not that high. But it still might help if a new screen stays completely empty or had bald spots. The reason for a white colors, of course, is too allow more light to reach the base of the growth that does the attaching to the surfaces. As the growth gets thicker, the bottom layers will almost be in darkness, so the white surface doubles the light there by reflecting instead of absorbing the light.
