I will kick start one, hope more reefers can share.... 1) Do not underestimate the strength(par) of your led light set, do not place led light set too low as it can burn your corals. Place high for spread and always go slow with the percentage. Cheers, James

There seems to be a misconception amongst reefers that mangroves are good in exporting nutrients. You will need about 20+ mangrove shoots to see some very little significant decrease to your nutrient levels. So unless you are willing to have a tank full of mangroves for nutrient export, you're wasting your time with mangroves. You are better off using cheato instead. And mangroves are really easy to obtain from the beach. Here is a thread that I've started years back on a mangrove experiment. I was able to make it grow with just raw TAPWATER. How much nutrients do you think it exported?
