  2. this is the entire reason why i started the reefsafe butterflyfish thread. some butterflies can be kept in the reef some cannot. it's not about the "altering" of the diet but more of the fact that they do not eat corals in nature. pls do your research, as teardrop butterflies are some of the most destructive species around. they have a large mouth compared to other species which is meant for tearing up corals.

  4. I've personally deal with uncle Jon before and can be described as a nice reefer and friendly. He stated that he's selling on behalf of his frd or whosoever. Perhaps his frds might have passed him the pic as a reference? Y not let him has a chance to speak and explain for himself before we judge him unfairly n making such remarks. Even a death sentenced prisoner had a chance to appeal to the president n further more, Who actually has gone to see the black tang he's posted here? What if he really have one for sale? Solution: gather all reefers who interest in this topic and/or the black tang n ask him to show n proof its exsistence. just my two cents worth. No need to reply to my thread. Disclaimer I'm in no relationship to him. People who wants to seek any doubt abt this topic either a scam or watever, pls contact him directly and no need to reply to my thread.

  6. But he is not upgrading to hold his beloved fish. He is selling them now so that he can decom and get a bigger tank and start all over again. That is another fickle move. I think my words alone is not enough. Other reefers who feel the same are persuading him not to sell too. There are ways to hold his fishes until his new tank upgrade. There is no need to sell becos it is NOT A DOWNGRADE. Anyway at the end of the day it is his decision to sell for watever reason there may be. Up for his fishes but be prepared the fishes will be quite hard to sell, as i've tried before. All the best.
