mayb you can try to spray cyclopiz at it to make it open and then feed them. Try to be patient as sometime they might need time to used to ur tank condition. My green sun take about 2 week to used to my tank.

I don't direct feed my torch coral.

Just add some Coral food into the tank.

Also ur tank water condition parameter and placement of the coral also act an imporant role for that.

Hi bro...you might want to refer to this thread... mine oso the same like yours...then i tried the to take it out and place it in another container then filled it with mysis shrimp, phytoplankton n zooplankton. This is to tempt the suns to open...and it does...hehe...try it...do it 3-4 times ya...

have fun reefing...

Cheers n happy new year...

Target feed better cause u are wasting ur money feeding wif plankton. They usually in the wild eat dead fishes and shrimps.

i would suggest you to do some search on the coral b4 u buy it... ... sun coral, for instance, is very unique coral and require intensive care... it needs to kep placed in a cave alike location, without too much light, but need water currrent and require target feeding without much waterflow when feeding it. Anyway, Im not much better than u, killed 2 colonies of sun coral and keep on trying and finally success keeping it alive for quite a few months... learn it the hard way...:unsure:

What i did previously is to cut a plastic bottle into half, and cover the coral, using a syringe and pump in some mysis shrimp from the bottle opening to feed it... den the cut bottle will be remove and kept for the next feeding. did it once a week everyweek untill i gave up after few months cos too much trouble and sold it off to a fellow reefer here...
