Took the risk 1 month ago, till now the color retains and it's polyps do extend. Pls note it only looks so blue in the photograph. It looks more turquoise under the ###### eye, and dull green when taken out of the water. As such the coral is not dyed, but the coloration is a result of zooxanthellae pigments.

I bought this piece from Golden Octopus @ $50 flat. As such, the starting bid will be $50. Minimum increment by $1, no increments by cents. Bid will close at 2 am, 9th Feb 2006.

what are the requirements for lightings?

I'm just maintaining it under 2X24W Aqualight T5s. Seem to be good enough. Water conditions: Nitrate < 0.5 ppm, Salinity = 36 ppt, kH & pH : never tested. Color is retaining. ;)

nitrate<0.5ppm is your water parameters?

or is it the requirements?

sorry for so many questions

It's my water parameters. I have kept sps before under 20 ppm nitrates, but as for all corals of course the lower nitrate levels would be better.
