i think its occuring since i change my lighting to 3 x 39watts T5 lights. am i right..?

is there anyway to reduce the algae problem?

me tank is a 2.5 x 1.5 x1.5

Cheers

i am not sure about this, but the method " changing water " will make it more cynao.

Opps! yeah, 4get about it... the newer flats tend to have lesser po4 in the tapwater.... best would be to use a RO or DI or RO/DI... :P

ahah...that's cos tap water has lots of po4 and no3.

mine has 1ppm of po4

Silicates is another problem in using Tap water. Thus, I am using de-ionized water, I previously used The Tap Water Filter but find it too costly as the medai can only treat of to 50gal. Now trying to get from ML the local made one that re-charges at only $80. ;)
