The little fella not eating the live copepods you feed?

I have exhausted 2 bottle of live pods already. :(

Live pods cannot be their long term diet... my pocket will go bust before them.

Hopefully it is taking in the processed pods or some of the planktonic food that I m feeding.

Bro, if you free, you might wanna try getting a small long spine urchin that CF have...

Hopefully it will feed on the processed pods...

was thinking of getting one but decided against it coz I put my hand in the tank quite often.

dun wanna get pricked.

Long time outstanding.... pics of my rescape

Previous scape

New scape - left side view

Still a little barren on this side. Wanted to remove the rock this the clam is on but not sure how to remove the clam.

Do not want to hurt it in the process so it will still be there until I figure how to remove it.

right side view

you will notice that I have about 1.5 - 2 inch space behind at my backwall now to eliminate deadspots.

Vortech has been moved to blow directly at the rear area (from the right tank wall) since I have zoas and yumas practically almost everywhere in my tank. Trying to create a low flow area in the tank at the front display area.

The return from the chiller is hitting the front of the tank at the top and so will the return from my 2026 cannister after I install it this week will also hit directly at the front of my tank wall. Any comments of this placement?

FTS

The scape is done in such a way that the top gradually slope towards the front at the bottom.

It is much higher than the previous scape and hence more space for corals.

There is a cave at the bottom right side. Planning to remove those yumas on these rocks and leave that cave empty.

Probably have to sell another yuma rock away. Too cluttered for my liking now.

Thanks Qiang. I like the "zoas bridge" I built at the front of the tank.

The pic doesn't give it justice. The bridge is extended out with just 1 end epoxy-ed.

The other end is open without any support and danging in mid water.

(hope it doesn't drop)

From the right side view, you can actually see open end of the bridge terminated by a monti.

Gonna try to get another few different coloured frags and have a monti area there.

WTS

BTW I am selling this yuma rock for SGD 60 in case anyone is interested.

Post here 1st before I try the Pasar Malam page.

Please pm me if keen.

The rock is slightly smaller than fist size with 2 large yumas (seen on the pic).

eh jacky u usin back ur MH now rite...so how any diff after changin back from ur LED any comments ?

Need to get them settled down after 3 - 4 weeks to tell the difference.

At the momemt, not much diff to me.

But my MH is using the 20k bulb. Using 10k with actinic or 14K might yield better results.

Bro, you still have lots of space...you should try sticking your rics or super suns on the rocks and yr sand bed will have more parking space. Yr ssuns can also stick onto the overflow with super glue.

Yeah eventually I will be sticking the suns somewhere.

I might be removing the overflow box soon so most likely they will hop onto a rock.

rics will move them once they recover. They are still not expanding yet.

I would like to leave the sandbed totally empty.

With yr TLC, yr rics will recover. if you're dropping by GO, probably you can get some vitamins from Shan to target feed them.

one of the fan blade broke.

I think the sound you heard previously "krack krack krack" was the blade hitting against the plastic.

mine sounded like that suddenly and then the next day, the fan blade broke and jammed the fan.

the temperature soared to about 40+ deg cel.

ok, hope no casualties. possible i guess. for me when i checked it out before as i told you, seems the 'box casing' of the fan is rattling, since it is not fully supported. so you returned your LED for fixin ? quite long already ...

no causalties.

I noticed it early so was lucky.

Razali is sending the fans to ML and I will pick it up from there.

I am not in a hurry as I want to use my MH for 4 - 5 weeks before swopping back to LED.

actually I do not mind using either.

good to hear bro. though electric consumption will jump i guess. notice any diff going back to MH ? i haven't started yet, but within this week i'll be putting on the 'dampers' i told you about before to support and absorb the fan vibration before i rev them up. also waiting on some stuff for a micro-chiller mod. any recent FTS ? i'll check your back-posts. i read you did some rescaping ... :eyebrow:
